With The Twelth Overall Pick In The 2009 BRB Interactive Mock Draft, Denver Selects...
In a very close vote, Aaron Maybin is now a Buffalo Bill according to BRBers. Who will Josh McDaniels pick at twelve? Will it be a QB or a defensive player? You decide.

As much as I hate it...
I picked Sanchez, because of the old cliche tactic of first year coaches drafting a QB in year one, as a ploy to possibly get more leniency from the fans, and have an all-time scapegoat for poor play. I say I hate it because I like Sanchez, and I want to puke every time I see McDaniels. I hope he is not long for this NFL world. Fucking asswipe.

I'm with you
McDaniels reminds me of that kid that was friends with the cool kids and cocky for no reason until he smarted off to the wrong dude and got stomped. I don’t care what your motivation is, you don’t let a proven 25 year old QB that just threw for 4,500 yards go. I don’t care if Cutler did it in a QB friendly offense, throwing for 4,500 yards in the NFL is unbelievable no matter what offensive sheme you do it in. McDaniels smacks of Belichikian arrogance, and is subsequently now on the “People I’d pay to see get hit by a Mack truck list”. Other notable entries on the list are Belichick himself, Jerry Jones and Norv Turner.
Let's get the Texans a better fight song.
Can't argue with that list...
But i’ve got no beef with Norv. God took care of that in his teenage years, apparently.

Denver's QB situation..
Copy and paste. “I’ve said it once I’ll say it a million times, the right time to draft a young QB is not when your team has n one that can do the job, but when they have a limited QB who can start but won’t be the future of your team….Chris Simms and Kyle Orton both fit in the category. None of us expect those guys to be starting for Denver in 3-5 years, so why wait to start training a guy who can fix your franchise?”
They shouldn’t trade up, but if he falls into their laps like here, take Sanchez. Plus I agree abouit the McDaniels thing… if he wanted “his guy” Matt Cassel bad enough that he was willing to throw away Cutler (who is almost certainly better than Cassel) it is pretty apparent that he is a control freak. The obvious choice for him since he can’t have Matt is to groom a new protege in his image.
"There was a pretty good group of free agent quarterbacks out there and, after studying them all, I liked the fact that he's young and I like the fact he's a mirror image of the guy we have (Matt Schaub) so when we're coaching Matt, we're coaching him, too." - Gary Kubiak on new Texans QB Dan Orlovsky
Matt Schaub = Safety Dan. We're in trouble.
Take your guy
with Sanchez if he falls to you here, and hope Tyson Jackson makes it to your next pick. However, as crazy as McDaniels might be, and how he prides himself on grooming late round QB’s, what if he goes D back to back with first round picks, and tries to pull the trigger on a QB late? That would be a McDaniels type move in my mind.
