BREAKING NEWS: Kris Brown Signs Extension
I know this isn't the contract news we've all been waiting for, but Kris Brown agreed to a four-year extension with your Houston Texans today. Brown has been with the Texans since the very beginning and has been awfully close to automatic throughout his time here, which makes him the anti-David Carr, I suppose.
Anyway, good for K. Brown, and good for the Texans. Now, let's use Bob McNair's ATM card to get something ironed out with DeMeco Ryans.

Good for Kris Brown
I had Kris’ autograph on his rookie picture from his days in Pittsburgh. I haven’t seen it in years. I wonder where it is… Anyways, very consistent here and he is always well-prepared, plus the guy has some speed and he will lay you out if you give him the chance.
It will happen

Anyone know...
Who his agent is?
This has the scent of another wad of cash we are throwing in an agent’s wallet, to help us close a deal with another one we’re working on.

That didn't make as much sense...
as I’d hoped it would. You guys smell me, though, right?

I got you Beef
I think what our favorite contributor named after a meat was trying to say was that the Brown deal could be done whenever because it’s not like he was going anywhere, but maybe it was done now to make nice with an agent who may be representing another player we are trying to sign. Maybe if Beef had not wasted his money and gone to school in Austin it would have come out more clearly.
While beefy is busy writing a rant about why UT fans are predisposd toward a homosexual nature, let me answer his question to soften his ire. As of last year Kris Brown was represented by Glenn Schwartzman, who currently does not represent any other Texans, unless one of the rookies hired him.

The Kicking Game Stays Good: Now But Get Demeco Ryans Signed And D.Robinson If Possible
Iam Glad That The Texans Are Handling Up With The Draft Pks
But Ryans Should Of Been Signed…Whats The Damn Probelm?
Daniels Also Has Value Depending What Direction The Texans Are Going.
Now Which Brings Me To D.Robinson Case Is Another Story
1) You Are An Adult…Stop Acting Like A Baby.
2) Should Be Thankful That The Texans Tagged Your Sorry @##
3) Earn Your Keep Before You Speak…..(You Stay Injured Son) No Production…So
.(Poor Leadership Is Not Good For The Team Or Our Locker Room)
I Would Of Let You Ride Out Like That Buster Faggins, You Two Guys Havent Shown Anything Production Wise To Houston When You Signed Your Last Deal.
Im Not Riding You D.Robinson But Homie Lets Get It Done Or Let Somebody Who Has The Heart To Start And Play CB
You Know What I Mean??
Somebody Comment On This

I was just reading a different post somewhere else about
the woes of our offense and 3rd down and crap. And then i realized what everyone else here probably already knew instantly, KB had a hell of a year cuz of the failures of our offense. But god bless the man regardless lol
Looking forward to not having an 8-8 year!
