Here's a good "fill-in-the-off-season" story about Middle Linebackers in the NFL, by SI.com's John P. Lopez.  I don't want to spoil the story for you, but Lopez puts DeMeco ahead of other current LB's such as classic position LB's Zach Thomas, Tedy Bruschi and hybrid LB's Karlos Dansby and Bart Scott. Bart Scott, if you remember, is the recent recipient of a multi-year contract from the NY Jets that is fodder for speculation when chatting about the contract that DeMeco and his agent are likely looking for from the Texans.I will go out on a limb and say that right now, I put DeMeco over all of the LB's that Lopez lists ahead of him. Seriously. DeMeco is a "player"!!!
