Rosencopters Job to win
With Favre Officially out of the picture the Vikings now have themselves a QB battle brewing at training camp. Former Houston Backup Sage Rosenfels and the incumbent Tavaris Jackson. I liked to watch Sage play when he was in a Texan uniform and think that he will take the job away from Jackson and start week 1. What do y'all think? Do you think Sage is good enough to be a starter for the entire season?

Yes, yes he is, but he needs to NOT be stupid.

I think Rosenchoppa's biggest problem
was trying to prove that he was a better QB than Matt Schaub. If he just plays within himself, and doesn’t try to make the highlight reel play, he’ll be a much better QB for the Vikings than Tavaris Jackson.

Well he has definitely made highlight reels………..

Only because Jackson really sucks.
I think the Choppa is, at best, an average quarterback.
I’m just glad that he’s not here anymore.
And it still blows my mind that people were chanting for Sage at the Miami game. Idiots.
When I'm on the mic, I'm like global warming, you can't ignore me.

Sage Gets The Gig
And I don’t think it’ll even be close, as I think he’s a definite upgrade over T. Jackson.
Question is whether we’ve heard the last from Favre. I’m betting we haven’t.
Looking forward to a day when being a Texans fan doesn't mean that April is the highlight of my season...

I agree with southpaw because he’s not a Texan anymore, not that it’s not news. He killed me dead last year, and I was happy to see him get gone.
Fact is, he’s a 31 yo career backup with some starting experience who struggles in extended play. My guess is a 75 QB rating. jackson’s lifetime is 76.5. 6 of one/half dozen of the other. personally, I’d rather have Jackson in there.

Interesting...
By the way, bfd, have I told you how incredibly effin’ handsome you look today?
Last two years:
Sage: 21 TD, 22 INT, 5 lost fumbles, 0 rush TDs
Tarvaris: 18 TD, 14 INT, 6 lost, 3 rush TDs
I don’t think the Vikes are getting the upgrade they think they’re getting.
And, of course, FJAllen.
