Live Coverage of Texans Training Camp
For anyone with Sirius Satellite Radio, the NFL channel will be broadcasting live from the training camp of the Texans on Sunday, August 2nd. Gil Brandt and Vic Carruci will be on the air in Houston from 12:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M., EST (11:00 to 3:00 Houston/Central time).
For those that haven't heard their training camp tour shows, they spend the entire four hours talking through team issues for the upcoming season, interviewing players and coaches, and breaking d0wn exactly what they saw. It sucks that the Texans' stop is so early before the team is really getting down to business, but Carruci and Brandt are two very good hosts. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up.

Would anyone with sirius
be able to record and post as a podcast?
The strong do what they have to do; the weak accept what they have to accept
Re: Thor
You mean that he took reps at FB? Because Vonta Leach had a death in the family?
If not instantly reporting on that, on a Saturday afternoon, in August, makes me a slacker, than a slacker I shall be.
Looking forward to a day when being a Texans fan doesn't mean that April is the highlight of my season...
Stupid me!
I guess repling to a post on a beautiful Saturday afternoon should cast shame upon me…I’m sorry for my ignorance. Enjoy your afternoon…..
Sirius has a listen online feature and you can try it free for 7 days.
Not sure if NFL network is part of the online package anymore but it used to be. Gil Brandt is an old timer that was a long time scout of the Dallas Cowboys. He knows personnel from a scouting point of view. One of like three radio people that I like on NFL radio.
What about the fued between Antonio Smith and Bill Kollar?
Lance Zierlein’s comments made me cringe.

Ack
That’s not a heartwarming story. I’m willing to give A. Smith the benefit of the doubt for now, but a repeat offense would necessarily, in my mind, be cause for concern.

I enjoyed Lance Z's sideline report!
Tension, guys spouting off, guys trying to show they belong!!! I love it!
I would take any showing of disgruntledness with a grain of salt this early in the season. Whatever feelings that Smith and Kollar have about that instance, I’m sure it is a mutual feeling of wanting to get maximum effort. They are both professionals; they are veterans; they will put that skirmish behind them and move on. The INTENSITY is there and that is the biggest thing that matters. Now they just have to focus on making it work for both of them.
I LOVE IT!!!! Who wants heartwarming? I want football players playing with a chip on their shoulder, man!
It will happen
