The problem I have with the Madden gaming Franchise
Every year I go out and I buy the new one for my xbox 360. I play through a franchise with the Texans and I have one player that is really good on my team that generally is not that great in real life. I then will watch the games thinking this guy should be a superstar and he sucks! For Example a few years back I played Madden when Phillip Buccannon was on the team. I got like 8 picks with him in a season...then he sucked all year long...
The Madden Franchise distorts my image of actual players...Do I have a lawsuit? Haha!! I am a nerd.

Yeah that happens to me too although I didn’t get Madden last year I got NFL Head Coach instead. All of the parts I like about football – franchise mode, drafting, free agent signings, salary cap, team building, etc. without having to play what is to me the boring part of the actual game. (you can call plays)
Last year it was Eugene Wilson. The Texans didn’t have him in the game but I felt the need to improve at Safety and he was available so I picked up him, and so did the real Texans. In the game he is rated like 90-91, one of the top safeties available. I don’t think he’s bad in real life, just a little more average than top 5 at his position.
Well, if you actually did have a case, there...
…for ever having your images of player values being distorted… then Jerry Jones and Al Davis would be in a line, directly behind you!!!
Al Davis was going to object to that
but he had to pick up Darius Heyward-Bey’s dropped pass.
The strong do what they have to do; the weak accept what they have to accept

same problem here
I remember playing with Darius Walker as my RB and he developed into a pro-bowl type player after a year so I was expecting him to be the same in real life. Thats the same season when Kubes moved him to the practice squad. lol
madden......
yeah… i hear you. i have the same problem, but it’s only because on my madden im the starting QB and schaub is the clipboard guy!
The vets are usually over-rated if they were ever good, and the young guys are underated unless they were a first round pick. Adibi was trash last year, even though most people knew he would likely be the starter by the end of the year and superior to Greenwood. I’ve heard that David Anderson is a 59 this year and last on the depth chart despite establishing himself as a viable threat from the slot….way behind MR. All I can get on the field for is punts and I keep fumbling them Jacoby Jones. If your a later round pick or a veteran without a big name you just seem to get crappy ratings with no real player evaluation. I think Kevin Walter actually went down this year after having a fantastic year last year. It’s so hard to improve guys like that I usually end up having a vastly different team in a season or two.
