Rosen-copter making a good show
I'm just keeping an eye on the Vikings-Colts game and it looks like Rosenfels has the upper hand going into the season.
Not only did he start the game and play the whole first quarter, he completed 10 of 13 passes in two drives that put up ten points for the Vikings. Jackson on the other hand is only 2 from 7.
I know he's not a Texan no more, but I wish him the best and look forward to him being the starter in Minnesota.

Just From The Highlights I Saw
He looked rather good. Of course, it’s just highlights, so it doesn’t mean much.
Looking forward to a day when being a Texans fan doesn't mean that April is the highlight of my season...
No idea, I only get to see ESPN games.

With You
On wishing Sage the very best. With the exception of a single memory/five minutes of a fourth quarter that will haunt me for the rest of my days, Sage was a huge positive for the Texans organization. I hope he thrives in MIN.

He has looked better than Orton
Orton for the Broncos looked kinda sharp at first but the timing is not there yet, he’s thrown 3 int’s and no TD’s
Worried About Our Denver Brethren
I don’t want to see a fan base wide suicide watch over at Mile High Report. I like those guys way too much.

Rec'd
Because if Wade Phillips can’t kill you, nothing can.

Vikes can be a threat for sure.
Think McMahon and Chicago say. Rosenfails can do just enough for them so long as he doesn’t do too much.
Once, a gang of fat girls threatend to beat me up for not cottoning to their advances, as they explained to me, boys can usually beat up girls, but there's a lot of us, and we're all fat.
I have to disagree on the comparison
McMahon was a real cannon, while Sage is a mere side-armer.
Point taken, tho. If the Minnesota QB keeps out of trouble, they are talented enough to win.
there is no "I" in "team"...but there is a "me"
I never debated that Sage wasn’t a serviceable QB. He just make too many mistakes when the game is on the line. Having some dude name Petersen behind him will probably help him just a little. I do wish him luck.

he's a fantastic backup
but he does get exposed as a starter. From a football fan point of view, I’d love to see Tarvaris take a step up. From a Texans fan point of view, I’d love to see Minny go 0-16.

I don't even mind if they go 16-0 in the regular season
So long as at some point during that time, Jared Allen dies a painful death from contracting Super-AIDS and being set on fire.

sorry sage... theres a new sheriff in town! lol
A source close to Brett Favre said the quarterback, pending a physical, will sign a contract with the Minnesota Vikings for between $10 million to $12 million, according to ESPN senior NFL analyst Chris Mortensen.
Vikings coach Brad Childress confirmed in an e-mail to The Associated Press Tuesday morning that Favre was traveling from Mississippi to meet with the team.
Asked if the plan was to sign Favre on Tuesday, Childress replied: “In a perfect world.”
The Herd with Colin Cowherd
Chris Mortensen tells Colin Cowherd that Brett Favre is headed to Minnesota today and will sign with the Vikings pending a physical.

Favre, a longtime star in Green Bay, came out of retirement last season to play for the Jets. He retired again, only to then entertain the idea of joining the Vikings. Last month, Childress said the quarterback would stay retired.
The pronouncement now appears to be premature.
According to Mortensen, the Vikings had sent their private plane to Hattiesburg, Miss., and left with Favre on it at 10 a.m. ET. The plane is expected to land in Minneapolis at about noon ET; Favre is expected to take a physical later Tuesday.
Two television stations reported that Favre was seen boarding a plane Tuesday morning that was headed to Minneapolis.
Sources told Hattiesburg television station WDAM, which initially broke the story, that Favre had said: “We may know something by dinner.”
A high-level source first told Minneapolis TV station WCCO that Favre was expected to sign a deal with the Vikings on Tuesday.
On Monday, Vikings quarterback Tarvaris Jackson, responding to the day’s scuttlebutt that Favre was predicted to play in Minnesota this season, said he was not paying attention to any of the talk.
“I pretty much have said [Favre] probably will follow me even when I retire. I’ll probably have to hear about it. I’m just trying to take care of my business, and I can’t worry about that stuff,” Jackson said, according to the Minneapolis Star Tribune. “If I let that stuff get to me, ain’t no telling where I’d be right now. I just let it roll off my shoulder and just keep going. Just keep trying to get better.”
Information from The Associated Press was used in this report.
