OH. EM. GEE.
More talk about Brett Farvraaaa coming out of retirement.
How freaking exciting.
Does Favre pay ESPN to cover his retirement/comeback/retirement/comeback/retirement saga?
Or does ESPN pay Favre to keep his retirement/comeback/retirement/comeback saga going?
Either way im pretty damn tired of this charade. The Vikings and Favre need to decide
if they're gonna come into terms. Or the season needs to start so I can find something else
to fuss talk about like Jacoby dropping returning punts for a touchdown.

lol... i just saw this on espn.com
A source close to Brett Favre said the quarterback, pending a physical, will sign a contract with the Minnesota Vikings for between $10 million to $12 million, according to ESPN senior NFL analyst Chris Mortensen.
Vikings coach Brad Childress confirmed in an e-mail to The Associated Press Tuesday morning that Favre was traveling from Mississippi to meet with the team.
Asked if the plan was to sign Favre on Tuesday, Childress replied: “In a perfect world.”

Chris Mortensen tells Colin Cowherd that Brett Favre is headed to Minnesota today and will sign with the Vikings pending a physical.

Favre, a longtime star in Green Bay, came out of retirement last season to play for the Jets. He retired again, only to then entertain the idea of joining the Vikings. Last month, Childress said the quarterback would stay retired.
The pronouncement now appears to be premature.
According to Mortensen, the Vikings had sent their private plane to Hattiesburg, Miss., and left with Favre on it at 10 a.m. ET. The plane is expected to land in Minneapolis at about noon ET; Favre is expected to take a physical later Tuesday.
Two television stations reported that Favre was seen boarding a plane Tuesday morning that was headed to Minneapolis.
Sources told Hattiesburg television station WDAM, which initially broke the story, that Favre had said: “We may know something by dinner.”
A high-level source first told Minneapolis TV station WCCO that Favre was expected to sign a deal with the Vikings on Tuesday.
On Monday, Vikings quarterback Tarvaris Jackson, responding to the day’s scuttlebutt that Favre was predicted to play in Minnesota this season, said he was not paying attention to any of the talk.
“I pretty much have said [Favre] probably will follow me even when I retire. I’ll probably have to hear about it. I’m just trying to take care of my business, and I can’t worry about that stuff,” Jackson said, according to the Minneapolis Star Tribune. “If I let that stuff get to me, ain’t no telling where I’d be right now. I just let it roll off my shoulder and just keep going. Just keep trying to get better.”
Information from The Associated Press was used in this report.

No One
Really thought that Favre was going to stay out of the spotlight, did they? The only surprise to me is that he’s signing this early; I figured he’d wait another week or so to ensure he missed even more camp.
Looking forward to a day when being a Texans fan doesn't mean that April is the highlight of my season...

well you're gonna need...
….some time in training camp to practice creative new ways to throw interceptions. Double Coverage? Check, Triple Coverage? Check. Quadruple coverage?! Coming soon this season.

I'm only surprised....
that Favre has yet to fake his own death, just to take the drama up a notch

There really needed to be an option to hand the keys over to choppa and to F!# Jared Allen. F!# Jared Allen can pretty much be attached to the end of all opinions.

Is it wrong to actually want Favre to get hurt
I don’t ever wish injury on any player and I won’t start now but I am tired of listening to the Brett Favre Saga/ Channel (ESPN). I really wouldn’t wish it though because they would talk about how tough he is and hasn’t missed a game for the next few seasons. The announcers would probably literally cry if he missed a game. Let’s not forget the six interceptions in a playoff game, the constant suckage, etc. Tony Romo learned how to fade from his mentor… Favre. Sorry guys but I don’t like the great white hope (Favre). I do however feel bad for Sage. The man could have helped that team but instead Favre is going to fuck it up.

People need to get over themselves.
people let the current make them forget about things. instead of remembering Favre as the energetic risk taker, now its just people shouting their opinions as to wether he should retire or not. and honestly i don’t see the big deal about him coming back over and over. Sports networks need to suck a few bags of dicks and shut up with the whole “Favre Watch” thing, seeing as how it just fuels this crap. The man has a passion for football and its hard to let a thing like that go… if you can’t relate to that then you clearly cannot talk about someone who is struggling with it. the dude changes his mind a couple times and then people start saying how he’s just out there for the attention or how he needs to just sit the F**k down and stay retired. perhaps I’m on an island here but this man is more than just a statistical legend. He’s a class act man, which is lost in the media and their take of things, and a freaking beast of a QB. old, yes. changes his mind a lot, yes. retired, no. everywhere i look its something retarded about Favre and how some expert and or Fanbase thinks he needs to give up his passion in life. yea… i ranted quite a bit here but its absolutely preposterous to think that a country boy who doesn’t give a crap about the media is out seeking drama and recognition. needed to get that one out. oh… but Fuck Dunta and Jared Allen for that matter as well. I’m pretty sure i’ve covered everything i wanted to talk about now. good day sirs.
Looking forward to not having an 8-8 year!
