Somewhere, Super Mario has to be smiling. That said, I don't know that the "savvy veteran presence" of Kellen Clemens would have been an improvement under center for the Jets.

I’m still a little scared of a 3rd & 6 draw or screen play, while Mario, Amobi, Smith, & Barwin are streaking 10 yards into the backfield….thus running themselves out of the play.
And then it’s all up to a rookie SLB, a 2nd or 3rd year WLB, and DeJesus. #59 is going to be very busy on a play such as that.
Props for OUR defense?
I like the sound of that, but with the exception of “Super Mario” our defense is a little suspect. Baltimore’s defense, on the other hand ranks up there with the Steeler’s. Just an opinion. I’m really hoping that our defense finally does start intimidating someone soon though.
