Around SBN: Explaining Jeremy Lin's Early, Surprising Success

Big news? Probably not. Johnson was always going to be a poor man's version of Slaton rather than a true compliment, given his size (5'9'', 210 Ibs.). However, that is one less running back in camp and given the vulnerability of the current group to the injury bug - Foster was nicked up much of his senior year and Chris Brown is Chris Brown - it's a little worrisome.

Hits just keep coming

Too bad for the kid. He would have been useful on the practice squad as a MJD/CJohnson stand in, but if we had to lose one, I’d rather it be him than Foster.
Come on down Andre Hall…

Andre Hall . . .

this guy is a bowling ball. Very low center of gravity. It’s a drag JJ won’t be playing, though

It’s time to sacrifice a chicken. I’ll start with the next best thing. See that whiskey over there? consider it gone. SACRIFICE!!!

Well, I am biased to Jeremiah Johnson as my first post here argued. But it just wasnt going to happen for him this year anyways. Especially since all the coaches are slobbing Arian Fosters knob. Hope JJ gets healthy and makes the team next year.

Nevermind, I didnt realize he was flat out waived by the team. I thought he was going on IR. Sad. I hope he gets a shot somewhere else.

Even with the problems he had with his shoulder, I was still pulling for him. The man has a lot of fire and determination, I hope he tries again next year and makes it – here or somewhere else.

I really wanted to

see that stiff arm in action. That boy had a mean one in college.

This was TOTALLY EXPECTED

Everyone already knew he was having this operation and it would knock him out until next year.

It will happen
