Where Do You Stand On Dunta Robinson?
Right now, one week before the first preseason game, Dunta Robinson:
- Did not sign a decent long-term contract offer (by choice)
- Did not sign the $10 million one year franchise tag tender (by choice)
- Has not shown up for ANY off-season or preseason activities
Now knowing what we know about the team's predicament for defensive backs I think we, as fans, are also faced with our own purely fan-based predicament. No matter what Dunta does tomorrow, next week, sometime during the season, or never...where do you stand on your "FANDOM" of Dunta?

Disgusted
I have always liked Dunta for his selfless play and leadership in our pouress secondary. But after turning down what was said to be Chris Gamble type money after coming back from his injury and playing mediocre, definitely not elite. I thought that was more money than he deserved and he still turned it down. This guy has balls.
If you aint Texans then F@!# You!!!!

This is the business side. As long as he plays well for that next contract, I bet by the end of the season most of us will have all but forgotten this holdout. Not to say I’m happy with it, I do wish he were in camp, but this is a problem the Texans haven’t had before because, let’s face it, we didn’t previously have people who even thought they were in the top 5 of their position.
buisness side....
it’s such a cop out, an exuse. it’s like a guy can hold a team hostage for money… and dont get me wrong, i was one of his big supporters. but hey, the fact is, owen played the ENTIRE time dante’ was injured… and he hasnt signed his big contract either. dante’ doesnt seem 2 understand that he’s not hurting management by doing this, he’s hurting his teammates, his coaches, and ultimately himself because he still has to gel with the new group of DB’s. i just think it’s in his best interest to get in there and get to work…. crying about it dont change the franchise tag. and last time i checked, 10 million for a year’s work isnt a bad payday at all.
