while i dont think this will be a very preaty ofensive game , i do think it will be a hard smash mouth win for texans fans. houston always steps up against the titans and this game has even more on the line for the team, no that their man hood so to speak has been put in question. either way its going to be a brawl ! go Texans!

I don’t have any facts to back it up, but I heard people on message boards are usually wrong, so I feel pretty safe saying that.

NASHVILLE – The Texans will be without starting wide receiver Kevin Walter (hamstring) and cornerback Jacques Reeves (fibula) against the Titans today. Both players practiced this week but were declared inactive this morning.
Wide receiver André Davis, who suffered a concussion in Week 1, also is inactive today. Jacoby Jones will start at wide receiver opposite Andre Johnson, and the Texans have only David Anderson and Glenn Martinez behind them.
Titans tight end Bo Scaife, who led the team with 56 receptions last season, is out with a knee injury. Rookie tight end Jared Cook is expected to see plenty of playing time in Scaife’s absence.
The Texans and Titans are on the field preparing for their Week 2 showdown, which kicks off at noon CT. It’s 76 degrees in Nashville with overcast skies, and there are potential thunderstorms in the forecast with a 60 percent chance of rain.
