Brian Cushing Withdraws From Pro Bowl
No word yet on who the replacement will be. Safe to say it probably won't be Morlon Greenwood, MDC's write-in campaign be damned.

"Lingering effects of injuries?"
I don’t buy it. He’s protesting this and any future pro bowl that has that tard vy on the roster with him.
Mr. Cushing, I award you the internet!

BFD wasn't first team?
I had just assumed that he had turned down the opportunity to start at safety because he figured he would be too busy eating tacos.

Excuse me?
And drinking beer, thank you very much.
I’m happy he made this decision. I am NOT a fan of the pro bowl.

I don't get the point of the Pro Bowl
Every other sport, it makes sense more or less. There’s no point for football though. They really should just do a Skills Competition for every position with them competiting for cash for charity or something.
Pre-Super Bowl it makes sense…a lot of guys goofing off, good cause, lots of exposure for players/teams/causes, no injury risk, and all in all a good thing.
Depressing, but Smart
This way he can get rested, and I rather see him 100 percent next year then playing uncomfortably.

Doesn't he have a broken finger?
And who knows what else? Some ribs? Makes perfect sense that he’d skip it, he played through injuries the whole latter half of the season, I think.
Heh, should read the article before posting.
Cushing, voted the NFL defensive rookie of the year, has foot, knee and rib injuries, along with a broken pinkie finger that may require surgery.
Ouch.
And yet he didnt miss a game this season and his production level never dipped...
thats a true warrior and the kind of player I want on my team.

IMO
Cushing doesn’t need the Pro Bowl none of the Texans voted to it do. It is nice to see So many Texans voted into it, but I can say Cushing is the EFFIN MAN!!! he did play the latter part of the season with all sorts of injuries. the man received DRoY, and a Pro Bowl invite his first year in the NFL… Take a rest B-man, come back next season and whoop ass!!
would have been nice for people to see him play in a nationally televised game..
but then again nobody ever watches the pro-bowl.

Well of COURSE Ultimate 56 won't get the nod.
Not until the greatest dollar-for-dollar WLB in the history of the world gets his Pro Bowl dues.
I always assumed "You're The Reason God Made Oklahoma" would be some sort of country music diss track. Live and learn, I guess.
We are closing in on a Matt Cassel vs. Marc Bulger pro bowl. What percentage of starters have pulled out of the pro bowl so far?
About 300%
George Blanda might make the squad by Thursday.
A Texans fan. Really. No, I'm not kidding.
