Just a repeat of what I said earlier
We Trade down and pick up a late 1 and 4. We take Iupati in the late 1st (around mid 20’s)
2 – Cox/Wilson
3 – Rolle
4 – Houston or other DT
4 – Gerhart
5 – WR
6 – Kicker
6 – OL
7 – Best available? (LB depth?)
Reason being is I feel like the Texans would be fine with Wilson and Pollard at Safeties. Rolle and Barber can be great depth there.
This draft would fill spots at FS/CB/DT/RB/OL/K
Hopefully the WR can end up being a nice steal…This draft is what Im hoping for now!
If there is no trade down then id wat to go DT in 1st and then pick up the O-L later (maybe in FA)…
Again it would be alot easier if we can pick up a Person in FA and not have to take a pick in the draft on one of those positions

Colt McCoy first round LOLZ
but for cereal, I think if Dan Williams is still around you go after him first round.. and for second round I was thinking maybe we could sneak Nate Allen FS, kid is smart, quick, able to cover. problem is he is projected as the #3 FS in the draft this year. I think until we get a chance to see more of these kids, I can’t tell you who I like for sure.
I'm starting to think that...
FS may need to wait til the 3rd round with guys like Parrish Cox and Kyle Wilson impressing so much. Or we could just trade OD for a 2nd rounder and grab a CB and FS, haha.
I do concur
although I dont see us getting a 2nd rndr for OD after his surgery, other teams might go for a 3rd rndr though
A 3rd rounder wouldn't be bad either
I know OD’s a Pro Bowl caliber receiving TE, but JD got better with playing time. Thor could also see more playing time as a back-up as opposed to a 3rd stringer. Schaub was also able to find Jacoby and David Anderson with OD hurt. Trading OD for a 2nd or 3rd round pick, which could fill another hole on this team, seems like the best move since we could also use money from a potential long-term OD contract and hand it to Ryans or Pollard.
I agree with that
Meco is a great asset to our team, His leadership is key to our D. Pollard was an amazing pick up and I thank Chiefs fans, whenever I run into one, for letting us have him. Before his injury, I thought we would be unable to cope without OD. He is a great TE, but like I have said to plenty of other people, The Texans Offensive weapons are plentiful, especially if we get our running game going again.
After the Bucs giving away the farm for Winslow
I’d start the asking price at 1st round and go from there.
2nd round pick in the 2009 draft and their 5th round pick in the 2010 draft.4
Which is pretty much what anyone would give us for Daniels. Thats not much of a farm.
www.manningface.com
I'd take an additional 2nd rounder
Think of the 2nd round possibilities…
FS/CB and that Florida C
FS and CB
FS/CB and OL
To fill 2 holes while still maintaining good depth at TE? Well, that’d be outstanding.
Have we checked out the canz on Terrence Cody yet?
I’m linking this so nobody accidentally gets blinded.

Sweet Mariah
He makes Andre Smith look like Mr. Universe.
Looking forward to a day when being a Texans fan doesn't mean that April is the highlight of my season...
Check out the Mock Draft Compilation thread...
Apparently, the Dolphins and Dez Bryant may hold the key to Dan Williams in Houston.
If Dez Bryant’s available then people think Miami takes him over Williams and Williams falls to 20. If Bryant’s gone to a team like Cleveland then Williams goes to Miami. At least that’s what mockers are saying at this point.
i really don't know about the 1st round..
i would love to see Iopati or Dan williams..
but in the second.. we could choose from around 100 defensive backs!
Perrish Cox, Donovan Warren, Brandon Ghee, Javier Arenas, Patrick Robinson, Kyle Wilson, Dominique Franks, Nate Allen, Morgan Burnett, Chad Jones.. shit.. even Myron Rolle would make sense!
We have to go DB in the second!
Die hard Texan fan from the heart of Denmark!
i think
we can get rolle possibly in the 3rd

Because I've gotten the question a couple of times
It’s also a term from the old BBS/usenet days, if I remember correctly. That’s when we all had 300 baud modems or used Prodigy.
A Texans fan. Really. No, I'm not kidding.

wild speculation obviously
until free agency is over. But I’ve never been one to walk away from a chance to wildly speculate.
Now that Gary is extended, he’ll be less inclined to throw out duckets this year to gamble his career on this one season (good investment there, McNair. Now I see why you’re loaded).
Which leads to us probably not being in the market for a NT, as they are highly sought after.
We will more than likely hit at least one RB in FA, and probably one in the draft, but it won’t be a starter, which we’ll need to possibly replace the hole left by Slaton if he’s not able to return.
And we can always use CBs. So to me, it looks like we’ll take BPA from CB, OLB, or NT.
My guess is Dan Williams in round one, followed by a CB in rounds 2 and 3.
4 and 5 will obviously have to be TEs. Followed by a TE/OG in round 6. Then of course the safety flier in round 7.
I’ve been OOP for a while, did we determine that TJ’s play this year earned us an extra 6th?
Mount Cody in round 1
