Cushing wins the D-ROY award

Just to make us all eat a little bit more crow, Brian Cushing is the runaway winner of the D-ROY award. Jairus Byrd was 2nd... a whopping 33 votes behind our hometown tackling machine. Did anyone expect this outcome back in April? I'm not even sure Smithiak would have...

So, when next April rolls around, if we all bitch and moan about who the Texans draft, maybe that will turn out to be a good thing???

Well Earned

I don’t think we expected this after he got hurt in training camp. Remember, Cushing first play in preseason next year will be his first ever preseason snap. To do what he did, while battling all the injuries he had, is spectacular. Great season from Brian Cushing.
