Open Thread: Wild Card Saturday
Although your Houston Texans are not participating in the playoffs, I'm told the NFL plans to continue their tradition of a postseason anyway. Thus, consider this your open thread for today's wild card tilts between (1) the Jets of New York and the Bengals of Cincinnati and/or the (2) Eagles of Philadelphia and the Cowboys of Dallas. Comment as you see fit.

Go Jets!
Eff the Bungles after you scrubs laid down and played dead last week.
A Texans fan. Really. No, I'm not kidding.

Definitely hoping the Jets...
knock out the Bengals and Colts, so people can criticize their decisions to sit people instead of knock out the Jets.
And go Eagles…make Jerah blow a gasket!
I simply cannot root for the Jets. I want to see the smug looks on their fans faces
completely obliterated when they realize that the in face would not have gotten to the playoffs if the Colts and Bengals hadn’t laid down. Then I want the Bungels to romp the dirty dirty colts because fuck the colts thats why.

I can go with that viewpoint
I would challenge you to a battle of wits, but you appear to be unarmed.

Not sure if anyone's mentioned it...
but we lost the coin toss and are picking 20th this year.
I always assumed "You're The Reason God Made Oklahoma" would be some sort of country music diss track. Live and learn, I guess.

Good to Know
That’s separate post material.
Looking forward to a day when being a Texans fan doesn't mean that April is the highlight of my season...

Chris Brown tried to throw the toss
But was hit in his flipping motion.
If only we’d sent someone else.

Like who, Rex Grossman?
We still wouldn’t know where we are picking since they would still be looking for the coin after he overthrew it

what?
We lost the coin?
I blame Dunta.
How else is he going to make $10M next year if not by stealing all the coins he can?
Waiting a few hours...
for the first pick will take some getting used to. I hope we have many more years so I can acquire this patience.
The Texans would stomp both of these [playoff] teams
I am both amazingly proud and amazingly sick at the site of that sentence.
The Texans.

Welp, Cincinnati...
You got what you effin’ deserved. You should have eliminated the Jets when you had the chance instead of laying down for them. I hope Indy’s next.

nah
Graham at least got close to making it. With Shankapotamus, you know right away he missed by 15 yards. Then again, one of those times I was happy (when he missed by 40 yards to help secure the “Reggie Bush Bowl” pick).
Bengals got what they deserved.
Now I’m ready for a Cowboys loss.

I posted on the Cincy Blog.....

Haha
I wish I was there to pour some sweet salt in the wound. Serves them right for thrash talking the Texans after their pornographic performance last week.

honestly
They have it bad enough with the Steelers fans. I kind of feel bad for them.

I don't. They shouldn't have talked shit to us after the Jets win last week.
Karma’s a bitch.
If there is ONE team inthe NFL with no room to talk shit to the Texans…it’s the Bengals. Their fans have been dealing with mediocrity for…well….ever.
