I, among many other fans here, would like to see Bush let go. I don't agree with how he runs his scheme. The Cover 2 can be a good scheme, if run properly. My biggest problem with Bush though is blitzing. His blitz packages are unoriginal. They hardly work, and it ends up being a big play for the opposing offense. If KC tears up our D next week, then Bush may be fired. It would be good for 2 reasons:

1. KC's offense isn't very explosive. They have some playmakers but they are mainly a running team. Bruce Gradkowski tore us up pretty good, so if Matt Cassel does, then Bush really needs to go.

2. Bye week. The bye week will give our new D coordinator an extra week to get settled in and to get ready for Indy.

We made Hakeem Nicks look like Andre Johnson today. Nicks is very talented, but 12 catches for 130 yards and two TDs is ridiculous.

We have the worst secondary in the league. A lot of people can say we have the worst secondary because our DBs are inexperienced. I think that Bush's scheme and playcalling is the main problem.

If Bush were to get fired, I'd be happy. Our run D has been pretty solid though. We have given up back to back 100 yard games, but both teams were averaging either 3.6 or 3.7 yards a carry. That is the only positive. Our pass defense must improve or our highlight of the season will once again be the NFL Draft.
