Does this year just seem kinda weird?
I mean, first, the Texans beat the Colts. That’s a year full of crazy right there. No team is 4-0 for the first time since 1970. Today was full of upsets. The Lions dropped 44 (!!!!) points on a team. Kickers missing chip shots right and left.

OK, I think I've got it now.
You’ve got all 4 teams tied at 3-2, so you go to the 3 or more clubs tie breaker. The first tiebreaker is win % for each team in games involving the 4 clubs tied, which happens to be the divisional games.
Win % for each team in divisional games:
Texans: 100% (1-0)
Jags: 100% (1-0)
Colts: 0% (0-2)
Titans: 0% (0-0)
This separates the division into 2 tiers: The Texans-Jags tier and the Colts-Titans tier. Since 2 teams remain for each tiebreaker spot (2 teams for 1st place, and 2 teams for 3rd place), the tiebreaker rules go to the 2 clubs format.
Start with the Texans and Jags and go down the list. They have no head-to-head and the division record is the same. They also both beat their only common opponent, the Colts. The Texans get the advantage with an AFC record of 3-0, while the Jags’ AFC record is 3-1. So, the Texans are in first.
Now for the Colts and Titans. They haven’t played each other and have the same divisional win %. However, the Titans are 1-1 in common opponents (Giants and Broncos) while the Colts are 2-0 in common opponents. So, the Colts get spot #3 and the Titans get the cellar.

This has been a weird year so far. The Giants and Cowboys beat the Texans, the Cardinals beat the Saints, the Jags beat the Colts, the Lions win a game, the Raiders beat the Chargers, the Colts have 2 losses before week 12, the 49ers are 0-5. None of that makes any sense.
