Anyone want to take the over/under on me having any hair left at the end of the season? I had to go back and check the score again when I pulled this beer out of the fridge, I was sure we had given up over 400 yards to Mat freaking Cassel's offense and lost that game.

I probably wasn't the only one that had written the team off near the end of the 3rd qtr. when it was obvious our defense couldn't stop a high school team. So while I am elated that our offense got clicking and exploded to win the game, I am in fear of what the future has to hold for us with a really really bad defense that now has to find a way to get better without Demeco Ryans for the rest of the season. This bye week is well timed, as we need it to get all our backup LBs healthy considering we only dressed 4 in this game against the Chiefs. The sad thing is because we won I think the horrible job Frank Bush is doing is going to get glazed over and we come off our bye with a tough stretch of games. So heres to hoping our offense can score 30+ points a game, because we will have to in order to win games. And yes thats pumpkin beer with pumpkin pie!
