Open Game Day Thread (Early Games): Bye Week

Yes, your Houston Texans have the week off, but I hear the NFL decided to play other games anyway. A poor decision, if you ask me.

This is your open thread for the early games of Week Seven. A second open thread will go up for the late afternoon games at 3 p.m. CDT.

The opinions of Brad Wells (BigBlueShoe) do NOT speak for all Colts fans. Most Colts fans are well informed fans and good-hearted people. Most Colts fans are not egotistical douchebags.

This has been a public service announcement.

Picks today:

Falcons over Bengals
UPSET Redskins over Bears
UPSET Eagles over Titans
Chiefs over Jaguars
Steelers over Dolphins
Saints over Browns
UPSET Rams over Buccaneers
49ers over Panthers
Ravens over Bills
Seahawks over Cardinals
Broncos over Raiders
Chargers over Patriots
Packers over Vikings

Late games really suck today, of course they sent Jim Nantz out to the Patriots game.

Because sometimes you just need a week

To let your Punter get shitfaced, your TE to screw up his wrist, your number 2 receiver to have surgery, your backup DT to have surgery, replace your KR, and let your 10 other injured players to heal.

The Saints punted

And right after catching the punt, the returner lateraled the ball to the complete other side of the field, and the Browns picked up 69 yards on the return and nearly had a TD.

Or is it a bad sign when your team gets gifted the ball on the other teams 20 yard line on the first play of the game and you can’t even move it a whole yard in 3 downs?

Mother of God... Chicago's line **stinks**

I tuned into one series just to see what was happening before I went out for the day. And my God, that line is horrid. I swear, their left guard who was formerly a tackle thinks he’s playing touch football. He didn’t just give up a sack, he barely put a halfhearted shove on the DT before allowing him through to sack Cutler.

Colts fans certainly know what offensive line problems are like, but Chicago sets a whole new level there. I actually feel sorry for Bears fans.

I, amongst many other of the core contributors at Stampede Blue, are officially boycotting the site due to the deplorable "leadership" of head blogger BigBlueShoe. We ask, but do not expect, support, from you, our fellow fans, regardless of your team affiliation. The ideals of fairness and respect that are the foundation of this great sport that we all love should not stop at the chalk on the boundaries of the gridiron, but should continue through to the fans and beyond. To show your support you may email dhalprin123@gmail.com at SBNation and respectfully ask for the removal of Brad Wells as head blogger of Stampede Blue. Thank You.

I wish the Mariners would actually do something from time to time. I loved Cliff Lee and still love King Felix. If only we could score a run or two from time to time instead of losing 1-0 games.

I see a couple of games a year and fortunately those are pretty entertaining when I do go. I just wish I didn’t have to gauge the “suck” level they’re playing at at any given time.

Hahahaha.

Cleveland celebrating like a Super Bowl.

"It's the greatest job in the world until Peyton comes off the field and you think his thumb might be broken and there's three minutes left in the AFC Championship Game and you're down by three to New England and you haven't taken a snap all year. Hey, don't mock them

No reason to celebrate like that.

Makes them seem even more foolish.

They should be able to celebrate.

I don’t mind being happy with a win.

3-5

Thank You.
