Open Game Day Thread: Texans v. Colts On Monday Night Football - 4th Quarter
With the crowd seeming to thin out, I debated not even creating a 4th quarter thread. But for those that are glutton's for punishment, feel free to wallow in your misery in the thread below...
I'm going to start on the recap...doubting it will hold the magic that the one I started against the Redskins did...

But we also have to hold the Colts on every possession from here on out.
Unlikely.

Someone...
needs to lose their job over this.
First half offense was absolutely atrocious. What’s bad is that they did exactly what everyone knew they were going to do. Offensive play was a joke. 8 yards a carry, yet we’re throwing the ball left and right.
Like I said, someone needs to be held accountable, and their job needs to be taken away from them.
Won't happen.
Don’t hold your breath. They’ll fire Bush after the season is over and all the damage is done.

I can't even blame the D on the first half...
Holding them to 10 points is HUGE. Yet having schaub make 1 read on plays and throwing the ball regardless of coverage is getting old really fast. That pick 6 he had foster/leach in the flat, yet forces the ball on his 1 and only look to kevin and the ball is taken in for 6.
The only hope now is for a Colts turnover. (And that the offense scores every possession)
But the “Cover Who?” scheme doesn’t do that so…..
Seriously though, come on Scondary, GET A PICK.

The adjustments made at halftime for the offense...
Is exactly the same thing everyone on any and every blogging, media channel has said to do 2 weeks ago. Yet somehow someone calling the plays in the first half didnt get that memo
They're doing just enough
to make you think that they can win it. Just to destroy our souls. Kubiak truly hates the fan base.
"LoL
Why am I even wasting my time responding to a "Salad". Ugh. Yeah… shit team"

Well good night everybody,
We are still in 2nd place guys. We still got a bit of a chance. More than we had last year, and we were a tie breaker away from the playoffs. We’ll recover.

"Its always good to have the same number of takeoffs as you do landings."

And that, ladies and gentlemen
Is how to successfully get out-coached by Peyton Manning. Fuck me.
Split Seahawks/Texans fan. Don't like it? Don't care.
Ok we are 4-3 with San Diego coming in next
we split the season series with the Colts. we are still in good shape and always finish the season on a strong note. its just our third loss. its not like we are the Cowboys.
living the Texas dream
Look out our playoff hopes though
We’re in the AFC….the wild card hunt is just as hard if not harder than winning the division
Split Seahawks/Texans fan. Don't like it? Don't care.
the playoffs might be harder to achieve now but we played a great team and lost nothing to be a shamed of
we have only played the Colts in our Division we still got four more games and the Colt have lost two division games.
living the Texas dream
We're not the Cowboys...
But we did lose to them. In fact, we got the shit kicked out of us by them.
I love your optimism. However, we’re seven games into the season. What you see is probably what you’re going to get. And what I see, is a team that isn’t any better than 8-8.
sure are team plays like crap sometimes but this team has proven that they can play and score on anybody at any time
the D held the Colts to just 23 points from our D thats great
living the Texas dream
23 points
to a Colts offense that was missing Clark, Collie, and used a 3rd string running back

Peyton Manning
could use people off the street and still score 28 on most defenses
living the Texas dream
Eh.
Our defense was missing DeMeco, Barwin, and our ball-hawk free safety.
Oh, wait. We don’t have that last thing?
Still, the first two stand.
a voice of reason isnt allowed
while everyone is slitting their wrists. If you don’t go undefeated and win by 60 points in each win, everyone will give up on the season.

I Kubes has good qualities
He is an expert at drafting
Who else feels bipolar when you watch the Texans play?
Expert at drafting?
Like, our 2007 first-round pick, who gets pressure up the middle about once every six weeks? Or our 2008 first-rounder, who just got absolutely destroyed?
As bad as some of the coaching has been, it’s starting to look like we just don’t have very good players.
please donate
after watching kubiak coach for 4 and a half years I think I will start donating my leftover change to the retarded kids tray at mcdonalds

Bush
I remember when we hired Frank Bush with his little presser saying we would have an aggressive blitzing and violent defense, I’d say he was an epic fail and in no way is qualified for his position
The only thing violent on his defense
is the training video Cush did while on suspension. So far this season we have yet to see anyone do anything to create game changing momentum (clean big hits, turnovers, etc).
Granted, today they “only” gave up 23 points against Manning. A few more stops would have been nice, but that’s pretty good vs that guy.
The coaches blew the offensive play calling completely and they sealed the fate of the game despite Foster, Leach and Johnson putting their hearts out there all night.

Like with OD....
Cushing did sit out a month…….if he’s still doing this after 4 games then I’ll worry about him.
"Lord, beer me strength."
you make a good point there
and he is learning a new complex role at MIKE. Short week to prep for SD, but let’s hope the coaches learn something from this game at least. One good improvement tonight was the secondary. The coverage was better and Jackson & even EWW made a few impressive plays.

Our defense only gave up 23 points...
That’s not bad for the Colts

mcnair
kubiak HAS to be doing something under the table for mcnair. This man became a billionare in the energy industry, so does’nt he have to have SOME common sense to see Kubaik and Bush are TERRIBLE? Or maybe he just does’nt know SHIT about football.
Reverend Pimp Daddy
?????
And why can’t our offense and defense ever be on the same page in the same week. holding the colts to 23 points is good. But why does the offense have to dissapear? All coaching.
Reverend Pimp Daddy
How bout them apples....
Somebody got they ass beat up on MNF.
Houston had their fun, back to the way thing should be in the AFC South.

correct
You know what? You are absolutley right. Until the Texans show me something, they will always be losers at heart
Reverend Pimp Daddy
Well it took a while
But after being flooded with cool, classy Colts fans for the whole season, a douchebag finally showed up.
I'll eliminate you like I eliminate gluten from my diet.

The ass hole just showed up
I’ll flag it for trolling, I advise other to do the same. There’s no room for that shit here.
Our heads may be bloody, but they are unbowed. We will be back next year better than ever!
Indianapolis Colts News and Updates
i expected the colts to score 28 points tonight but had the texans scoring 30. boy was i wrong
Reverend Pimp Daddy
Everyone predicted the math for tonight...
the call was the Texans needed to score more than 30 to win.
They didn’t so they didn’t!

24 would have done it, perhaps, if the pick-six doesn't happen.
Hell, maybe even less if the offense sustains even a single, precious drive in the first half to keep Manning off the field.
Let's try that again...
The postgame thread is up. Please move your frustrations there:
