Hate to rain on the parade....

The Offense was going against a pretty stout D yesterday but still failed to score until the 2nd qtr.
That first TD off of Quinn's first career int. that gave them the ball on the Tenn 25.

After taking the opening kickoff, they turned the ball over on downs after a go at 4th and 5 which smacked of desperation on Kubes part considering how our D has performed. Maybe he was trying to fire up the team
or showed no fear going against a 6th round rookie QB. Either way it was out of character for Boobiak.

The only long drive we had was the last one in the 4th that included the running play "HB Right, Battle Royal Left". We moved the ball 80 yds and stalled on their 25 and settled for a FG. Not a whole lot to get to excited about.

Now the beat down was great! It got the players and the fans fired up. It hopefully will have a longer lasting emotional and psychological effect on Texans then going for it on 4th 5 at the Tenn 35 on the first series.

Unfortunately, the Andre chant at Reliant didn't reach its full crescendo till Dre was already off the field and clear of the tunnel but I'm sure he still heard it as he made his way to the locker room. The fans in the NW corner gave them their best gladiator victorious sendoff, I'm sure.

Shefter on ESPN this morning cites NFL policy for player discipline of 5 day notice before a game so teams can make preparations and player adjustments. Looks like we should have AJ for the Philly game but if there is a supension handed down we will lose him for the Ravens on Mon Night.

Knocking Dre out on a Monday Night would be a little harsher on him and the Texans considering it is a Conf. game. I'd rather lose AJ against Philly since the last 4 games on the schedule are division and conf. games.
