Andre Johnson already is the only Receiver with at least 60 receptions in his first 8 years of playing in the NFL. Now he is close to doing something else Jerry Rice never did. have three consecutive years of  >1500yds

Currently Andre is sitting at 1018 yds for the season which means he needs 482 more yards in 4 games. I know I know that is quite a bit for 4 games. but it is only 120.5 ypg, and he did have a 6 rec 149 yd game last week in philly. so I hope Arian gets the ball, early that way it makes the ravens cheat and give Andre some nice passes.

Some other comparisons for you between Andre and Jerry. Andre Johnson (though the year is not over yet) has 8966 yds in 8 years is currently 39.2% of Jerry Rice's 20 yr career with 22,895. If you add the 482 to andre's current total he will have 9448 yds in 8 yrs which will be 41.2% of Jerry's career total. in less than half the time Andre has almost half of Jerry's career total.

Andre currently has 658 Receptions and will more than like finish the season with another 30 receptions. Jerry Rice finished his career with 1549 receptions. Andre currently sits at 42.5% of Jerry's reception total but with the added 30 is bumped up to 44.2%

Jerry in his 20 yr career had played for 3 NFL teams. Andre has only had one, so he has 1/3 of the teams of Jerry, and this is something I don't want him to out do Jerry in. Andre deserves to be the first Texan to have his Jersey hung in Reliant and for the number 80 to never be worn by a Texan again.
