To be fair, Raven @ Texans doesn't have huge playoff ramifications.
I do have to say I am looking forward to the Patsy/Bears game. That should be very interesting, especially if the Bears can actually use their D.

He had a decent day. I went with Woodhead who scored some points, but too few to catch bfd’s Feces Flingers. It was just a bad day all around for the Whoopie Cushings. I had a bad feeling and sure enough, the team didn’t come through. Oh well, it was a thrill to just get to the playoffs after being so far out of it early in the season. The WCs were the team everyone feared, but this wasn’t their week….

I am very torn.
On the one hand, I need a solid game from my fantasy team to win today, and its playoff time, which means being a smart manager….
On the other hand, my heart wants an ass kicking of the Steelers by the Bengals…..

They’ve got just enough wins to be cocky, but not enough substance to actually be worth much. The Indy offense vs. any of their defenses would be reminicent of last year, and their offenses haven’t improved much, so I’d even take the Indy D being able to make more stops than their D on our offense.

Its not so much, "lack of depth"
as we just had our 2 offensive line backups inactive for the game. We have McClendon and Thomas as backup guards if need be, but Richard is the better option, and he screwed up his hip somehow.

And which of the Raven’s and Jets has a “strong” defense?
In every game we lost (except SD due to referee interference), the Colts offense was better than the opposing defense, but mistakes were costly. A guy throwing 75% completions for a couple of TDs and 365 yards is a sign of a very GOOD offense. The problem is when you spot the other team 10-17 points. And alot of the problems have stemmed from lacking trust in the 4th-7th string guys they’ve had to bring in to field an offense.
Come playoff time we’ll have our #1 & 2 RBs back, and our #2 WR. That is why i’m confident in the Colts offense.

The last 3 games have bumped his catch rate up 12%.
He went from 44% all the way up to 56% now. White is at 60% and Wayne is at 62%. He’s getting there.

Unlucky is a better way of describing it. Stupid as well. But its not like the offense has been doing nothing. It has been overcoming huge holes and still being in a position to win games with hobo’s from the street.

"Unlucky" is a cop-out.
There are degrees of mistakes.
Degree 1- Player accidentally lines up in the neutral zone once in the game.
Degree 10- Player throws 2 pick sixes and a couple more INT in one game.

True, but inconsistent isn't right either.
stupefying is probably better. They can play so good for so long and then make 1 mistake and ruin all the good stuff. Inconsistent implies prolonged periods of good and bad. The Colts offense has prolonged periods of good, and single unbelievable instances of crappy judgment.

my next exam isn’t until Wednesday night (Anatomy/Physiology: my toughest and most important exam), and I have back-to-back finals on Thursday afternoon. Here's what I've heard so far.
Texans go if Texans win out, Colts lose one, and Jags lose one. So if Houston wins tomorrow, they could easily beat Tennessee and Denver, leaving only the Jags game to consider.

If the Texans beat them, they have the equal head-to-head and division record assuming Houston wins out. I guess they’d have the next tiebreaker (common games? maybe Conference record?)
