Vonta Surges in Fan Balloting for Pro Bowl
From Nick Scurfield, the NFL announced the winners of the fan balloting portion of the Pro Bowl selections. As expected, Andre Johnson and Arian Foster led their positions. On the last week groundswell of support from Texans fans and other knowledgeable voters, the Texans FB Vonta Leach overcame San Diego's Mike Tolbert and Baltimore's LeRon McClain. Credit was given to Arian Foster for wearing "Send Leach To The Beach" t-shirts, but I also have to give much credit to BRB followers who I think responded to our pleas for votes and did just that! Thanks to all who voted. I should note that fan balloting is only one-third of the selection process. The other two-thirds is determined by coach and player balloting.
In other news reported by Mr. Scurfield, Kubiak said not to expect any Leinart or Orlovsky sightings in the final two games. Also, expect to see a lot of Arian Foster. Andre Johnson is a game-time decision, but I have a feeling that if anyone can find a way onto the field, AJ is probably that guy. I'm hoping that he gets his yards this week that push him closer to 1,500. We can argue all we want about coaching changes and how to fix the Texans, but there is one thing we can all agree on. We are all cheering on AJ!

5-9 team with four pro-bowl starters?
That’s some disproportional representation right there.
Though I suppose it’s evened out by the fact that, if there were a goat-bowl for least valuable players, we’d probably dominate that too.
Holy Crap, this badly needs to happen
imagine, EW starting in the same backfield as CC Brown. Texans reunion! QB’d by, uh, let’s see, Rusty Smith! Who’s got some wide receivers?
We do.
Rusty can throw to Jacoby, so on the off-chance that he accidentally throws an accurate pass, it’ll be dropped.

May as well add Matt Turk as Punter
I believe that the Texans need to score 40 points in every game to be competetive because of efense.

You know what's sad?
I had a hard time thinking of players from other teams that are as awful as some of the Texans players mentioned here. I’m sure it’s because I follow the Texans much more closely…
My wife suggests calling this the “Toilet Bowl”.
Or the Unemployment Bowl
since they all would be playing for their jobs

Has the Texans defense become too excruciating to watch? Clorox Eye Wash is the solution for you. Apply directly to the eyes & the slight pain will provide everlasting relief from the vision of the Texans Defense

I am glad
to see Vonta get the fan support… and I would like to think that BRB had a big effort in sending Leach to the Beach, if he ends up going.
I heard Brian Cushing like to do it with girls in a really uncomfortable place and i am not talking about the back seat of a Volkswagen
Go Texans!
I know I voted for Leach @ least 100 times myself

I voted for him numerous times too.
sort like every time I thought, “wow Arian Foster is an awesome running back”
ok go vote Leach to the beach =D
and yeah not EVERY time but I tried to remember to go give Vonta Leach an “attaboy” every time I thought about it.
somebody here gave the tip about just going directly to the fullback section instead of filling out the complete form. that worked wonders =D
