We Think We Know What Will Happen Poll
It's a forgone conclusion that Gary Kubiak will be fired, right? Well, no, actually. It's a safe bet that not even Bob McNair knows what he will be doing. It was just three weeks ago that McNair extolled how good the team is doing, being led by Gary Kubiak and just a few nondescript moves were needed to have this team in the playoffs. McNair formed that opinion after listening to the mass of owners at their annual meeting. The fanbase listened to those words and the doubting immediately crept in. After the next loss, the doubting grew. Another loss and doubting is now rampant and the mass of fanbase is calling for a change of Head Coach and General Manager magnitude. Which "mass" is Bob McNair listening to now? Mr. McNair is now silent on that subject as he ponders his options. So, I am putting this poll out five days before the final game. Who is Bob McNair listening to? Do you know what Bob McNair will do? Take a guess. And, while there are options, you're just voting for the option that you think is most likely.

I could be wrong....
I voted for
Just fire the defensive and special teams coaching staff, and no one elsejust because I think Uncle Bob will go slow with the uncertainty of the CBA issue.
Good answer
There is no wrong answer, of course. Uncle Bob has a lot to contemplate. I wonder who he is consulting on this? I suppose, if he just goes with firing the DC and ST staff, then he may rely on the existing FO to fill those positions. I wouldn’t be shocked if it develops like this.
I didn't do anything wrong!.... and, I won't do it again.

I believe that the Texans need to score 40 points in every game to be competetive because of efense.

You have to wonder what Bob thought when...
San Diego announced they were keeping Norv yet again.
"Lord, beer me strength."
I just hope it doesn't give him any ideas about keeping him.

A word of advice for Texans fans. Remember John Milton's Paradise Lost: The mind is its own place. It can make a Hell of Heaven and a Heaven of Hell. Kinda sums up the last nine years, doesn't it?

OTHER. If Bob is smart, and I think he is, I would retain Kubiak as head coach, but releive him of play calling and get Wade Phillips as DC and have him get a coach to teach these kids how to tackle.
If they haven't learned how to tackle in 20+ years of playing football
they wont learn now. Frank Bush, Wade Philips, nor Buddy Ryan can teach these guys how to take the correct angle or tackle properly at this point in their careers. It’s not like correcting your golf swing or developing a jump shot because there limited chances to practise form.

I'm not sure
both Kubiak and Smith will be fired together.
