Bleach Social: Where Are You Watching Jaguars-Texans?

Back in mid-September, we started this feature. And now, as the calendar readies to turn over to 2011, this is your last edition of Bleach Social for the season. Please hold your applause until the end of the post.

Let's make it a memorable one, shall we? Tell us where you'll be watching your Houston Texans strive for their sixth win (in sixteeen (16) tries!) of the 2010 season on Sunday at 3:15 p.m. CST. Will you be at Reliant, at an ill-conceived rally watching from your seats? Your house? A sports bar (e.g., 360 Sports Lounge)? In a sound-proofed room where no one can hear your screams of agony?

Bonus: If you want to share your plans for New Year's Eve, feel free to publish those as well.

Congrats, TM

I trust you’re not leaving it in the Texans’ hands to give your wife the anniversary present of victory.

Looking forward to a day when being a Texans fan doesn't mean that April is the highlight of my season...

Has the Texans defense become too excruciating to watch? Clorox Eye Wash is the solution for you. Apply directly to the eyes & the slight pain will provide everlasting relief from the vision of the Texans Defense

What? no one is interested in a free beer? ...just want to talk about TMS 18 years of football championship starvation>

….errrrr, I mean blissful marriage. Congrats T-Maniac! But, don’t forget why you are called a maniac. It’s not the wife that did that to you. It was Bud Adams and now Bob McNair who are the culprits. And, if you want that free beer, you better just don that BRB t-shirt of yours and trot on down to 360, the bar, where they play nothing but Texans games on 20 widescreen TVs!

I didn't do anything wrong!.... and, I won't do it again.

I quit my job!

So i can watch this game.

For the game, I think we'll be at home

Simply because I don’t think it’s worth going to the Spot to watch the Texans embarrass themselves when I can do it just fine at home now. Plus the only other game of interest to me is the knock-down, drag-out street brawl that will ensue on Sunday Night as the Seachickens take the NFC West crown from the St. Louis Sheep.

I really hope the ‘Hawks win the West. One because they’re the local team, and two, I’ll get some sick, twisted amusement at seeing a sub-.500 team go to the playoffs and get a home game in the process (Division winners do get home games, right?).

And in an unrelated note, I’m listening to SR 610. If anybody’s going to the game, can SOMEONE, ANYONE, please punch Josh Innes in the mouth for playing Christopher Cross all day today? I’ll give you the deed to my truck.

I am a visionary, I am a genius, and now I am angry! Now help me find my pants!

A word of advice for Texans fans. Remember John Milton's Paradise Lost: The mind is its own place. It can make a Hell of Heaven and a Heaven of Hell. Kinda sums up the last nine years, doesn't it?

Is ANYONE going?

I believe that the Texans need to score 40 points in every game to be competetive because of efense.

by Barryfromtexas on Dec 30, 2010 5:54 PM CST up reply actions

I'll be at home watching...

That is if they air it in Austin. I haven’t checked yet. In the past they wouldn’t even show Texans games here. I wonder if they’ll show all of them next season? At least I can turn the t.v. off if they are winning. As much as I hate to write this, I hope the Jags whoop up on them so McNair has no choice but to shake this whole mess up.

by Crazy Eye Killa on Dec 30, 2010 9:57 PM CST reply actions

I'll be in my seat at Reliant

My wife and I haven’t missed a home game ever. Been through the worst since season one, and will endure it, because I refuse to be a fair weather fan. Doesn’t mean I approve or disapprove, I’m very frustrated about this season, but that’s the NFL and sports in general.

Uncomfortably numb......thanks to the Texans
