Texans Making Roster Moves
Roster news per the ever reliable Nick Scurfield, the Texans have (a) placed DE Jesse Nading on injured reserve, (b) signed S Quintin Demps, and (c) re-signed DT Malcolm Sheppard to the practice squad after waiving him from the active roster last week.
Demps is a free safety and former Philadelphia Eagle (2008-09). He's got experience as a kick returner, finishing fourth in the NFL in kick return yards in 2008. He was cut at the start of the season and signed with the UFL's Hartford Colonials last month.

I would love for someone else to have a chance to make an impact in the return game. because we have gotten very little from it anymore. Does Jacoby’s mom still sit in the endzone, did she stop cooking for him or what?

New defensive coordinator will not tolerate
The new defensive coordinator will banish Zac Diles, Eugene Wilson, and Shaun Cody to the bench/unemployment line. The new defensive coordinator will design kick-ass blitzes that aren’t obvious. The new defensive coordinator won’t give 10 yard cushions in the red zone. The new defensive coordinator will love big Nose Tackles, and look to make an unpredictable defense.

So far the majority of comments from BGN say he should be an upgrade in the return game
Defensively, they’re not too keen on him. They say he has all the talent to be a starting FS, but lacks maturity & might be slightly injury prone
