Quick FF Questions:

So normally, I wouldn't ask for pointers when it comes to FF, but this week I think I'm letting playoff jitters start to get to me a bit.

Ugh.

anyway, I'm trying to decide who to play at RB and at WR for this week and here's the list of players I have to choose from:

RB:

MJD vs. Oakland

Ced Benson vs. Pitt

Fred Jackson vs. Cleveland

Thomas Jones vs. San Diego

Right now, I'm leaning towards MJD and Fred Jackson, simply because not starting MJD is generally stupid, and Jackson at the Browns just 'feels right.' That said, I'm only hitting at about 70% on going with gut feelings this season, and I wouldn't be surprised to see Thomas Jones do some damage to the Chargers. Unfortunately, we're in a 2RB/3WR league with no flex, so I can't sneak both of them in there with MJD

Anyway, WR's:

Roy Williams vs. Philly

Eddie Royal vs. Arizona

Nate Washington vs. Indy

Dwayne Bowe vs. San Diego

Wes Welker vs. Chicago (Tom Brady is my QB)

At the moment, I've got Nate, Dwayne and Wes in my lineup. Unfortunately, I've had a bunch of hit or miss guys at WR all season, as you can tell. Roy Williams is either pretty solid or terrible from week to week, and Eddie Royal is Eddie Royal. Also, he's a friggin' Bronco, so who knows what you'll get from any of them any game.

Thoughts?

Any extra Unicorn Blood we could send these guys for the week?

Well...

I’d start MJD and in a toss up between Jones or Jackson, I’d go with Jackson.
For WRs, I’m biased so I wouldn’t pick Nate Washington. I’d go with Welker, Bowe, and Williams. Not sure how Bowe will do though since Cassel probably won’t play. Williams is hit or miss but I don’t see any other viable options.

When bfd gets hit by the Whoopie Cushings. Everyone knows that the WCs are the team to beat. Matt Cassell could have a sex change operation this week and it wouldn’t change things! The Flingers are going down hard. Just consider yourself lucky to have been in the same matchup with the WCs. You’ll have something to tell your grandchildren about….

Reality?

I’m not feeling confident for some reason. I don’t like my players’ match ups this week. I know the computer gives my team the edge, but looking at it from a non-stat standpoint, I would give your team the edge. That’s really the way I feel. Just not getting the good vibes.

I would have to go

MJD and Jones. Cleveland has only given up 4 rushing td’s all season. SD has given up 10 and when you compare YPC it’s only a .2 difference.

Bowe, Welker, and Williams. Bowe just had an off week but has been a BEAST all season long and I have a feeling It’s going to be a high scoring through the air game. Welker because Brady has been going off and spreading the ball around like crazy so pretty much any offensive player on NE is a start. Williams because 1) Washington will be overshadowed by Britt and Moss tonight. 2) Royal only has 3 td’s and is very sketchy week to week and 3) Dez is out, So it’s just Williams and Austin. I also think Dallas is going to be playing catch up this week so there will be a lot of passes thrown by Kitna.

I'd go with Thomas Jones for RB2

Im kinda weary on Dwayne Bowe though. I have him on my team too but if Cassell isn’t throwing to him, I don’t think i’ll start him.

All 4 leagues including the 2 BRB leagues and the JWML I made the playoffs. Wait a sec, Hey Rivers! Aren’t we supposed to have some kind of playoffs for the JWML?
