Big Time Falcons
Show up big in big time hunts. Like the ones you see below. These aren't fair weather falcons. These raptors show up biggest when the chips are on the table and the small game is at its most helpless. IIf you're an oryx or desert ostrich, don't even think about bringing anything other than your A game against these birds. Hell, even if you do bring your A game, you're still going to get attacked repeatedly from the sky until you bleed to death.
Because these falcons are big time, and they're showing up big.
This bird is all game.
This. Bird. Showed. Up. Big.

Gambling in the Middle East?
Because I’ll bet right now that a Big Time player like this would be a better use of a roster spot than Dunta.
If the Treasury Secretary doesn't have to pay taxes, then why do I?
"ball-hawking" FS
fixes that problem completely

Exactly my point
a falcon >> a hawk
And we all know that the saying would be “ball-falconing”, if only ‘falcon’ were a single-syllable word.
If the Treasury Secretary doesn't have to pay taxes, then why do I?
Whoa now, don't badmouth the great Dunta!
He can still be a good corner, he just doesn’t try anymore!

I totally missed the genesis of this inside joke.
Not unusual for me. Just sayin’.

It goes back to the day when John Lynch was commentating on the Texans
I think it was the Jags game (of Chris Brown hb pass fame). Lynch kept on going on about how bigtime players show up to play in big time games.
At a certain point I got so pissed off with the team that I changed my sig to say that I was a fan of Qatar’s falconry team. The two concepts got mixed up after that thanks to the creative folks on this blog, especially Rivers and Jordann. It just kind of grew from there.
I'll eliminate you like I eliminate gluten from my diet.
