Who is this us?
And will there at least be a live chat so, like Taco Joe said, we can harass you?
Rudimentary creatures of flesh and blood, you touch my mind, fumbling in ignorance, incapable of understanding.
Theoretically
Myself, Tim, MDC, bfd and hopefully Rivers if he’s conscious post-Indy.
This is going to be a kind of trial-by-fire experience, so bare with me while I figure out the ins and outs of this weird thing. I’m hoping to manage the live-chat. Call ins would likely result in total anarchy on the first go-round…
But if this proves successful and once we get better at it – definitely going to expand what we do!

Shouldn't total anarchy be the goal?
That would prove that the show is a hit
I would challenge you to a battle of wits, but you appear to be unarmed.

Rec'd for Anarchy!!!

But besides that, If at first it starts with a chat room then moves to dial-a-orgy, I would deff back it up!!!
No more reading 20 page essays without use of paragraphs?
Fuck yeah!

Not really
But I do miss the awesome rock-bottom prices that he offered for Viagra
If the Treasury Secretary doesn't have to pay taxes, then why do I?
Also theoretical
I’m pretty sure we can turn the show into a podcast and if that’s true… I should have something up on the site to download by tomorrow.
Theoretically.

Whats the odds
On MDC sounding like a total dork?

Sounding like Mickey Mouse? 1000%!

I guess I WILL be listening then.

Hey!
That didn’t suck!

Thanks, BUT...
We definitely have some kinks to work out. The delay was really difficult to deal with, and it created some odd pauses. There was no MDC, so half of my comedic material was gone. But, you know, not overly embarrassing for the first time.

You can listen to it right here.
At least I was able to after it was over (I missed a part).
As for contracts coming up, (Addressing a point in the radio session) don’t forget about Matt Schaub.
You guys are sweet
That was really pretty awful

Look if you guys don't want to hear it
You should not have scheduled the podcast to interfere with the 10:15 PM fetish session.

I agree with the whole K-dub thing.
I don’t think he’ll be as effective as a WR2 in another team. The reason for Walter’s improvement is clearly having Andre Johnson as his WR1.
Bad idea listening to the podcast while at work.
Im having to turn the volume up to hear Rivers and turning the volume down so the whole office won’t hear Tim. Oh, and im having a hard time keeping my hands in plain sight when I hear BFD talking.
I’ll wait till I get home to listen to the last 12 minutes.
Great job though. At least it didn’t sound like yall were doing this for the first time.
I only counted two moments of awkward, prolonged silence
So you’re already doing better than the first twenty five minutes of my marriage.
I'll eliminate you like I eliminate gluten from my diet.

After listening to this, I have an idea
Maybe we could trade Owen Daniels to Washington for a 2nd round pick
I would challenge you to a battle of wits, but you appear to be unarmed.
They've got Fred Davis
Cincinnati, Cleveland both need TEs though. Cincy is mocked to grab one in round 1, so something tells me we could get a decent pick from them.
Remember, Baby Shan went there
Meaning they can never have enough TEs
I would challenge you to a battle of wits, but you appear to be unarmed.

So Rivers, was it worth the trip to the Combine?
No. (pause) That pretty much sums it up.
Awesomely candid answer.
If the Treasury Secretary doesn't have to pay taxes, then why do I?
PS
Rivers, did you at least leave a flaming bag of shit outside the door to Pancakes’ hotel room? Or BBB’s house?
If the Treasury Secretary doesn't have to pay taxes, then why do I?
You think I'm gonna spend one extra second outdoors in that stuff?
Hell no.

awesome job guys
I hope this becomes a regular thing.
Dunta's weightspeed was too low
suggestion
introduce yourselves, so we know who’s talking
And once or twice in the middle of the thing, introduce yourselves again.
There were a couple guys on there who sounded like he knew what they was talking about, and a couple others who didn’t.
BRB TV maybe? satellite feeds?
Dunta's weightspeed was too low
"BRB TV maybe"
Between Tim, MDC, and I? I don’t think the Internetz could handle that much simultaneous weightspeed.

Shocked, really
At the positive feedback, but much appreciated.
Yeah there’s a lot to build on from yesterday. Still sorting out podcasting this, but not too concerned since it’s embedded into this post.
Yeah I realized after the fact I should probably introduce myself, but we were still getting the guys on the line when it went live. IT ALL HAPPENED SO FAST! Obviously in the future I’ll try not to ask generic questions to the ether to create awkward silence.
I imagine we’ll put this on hiatus for a couple weeks… it’s just so slow right now. But definitely give it another go round. Huzzah team!
Theres also free agency coming up
Rudimentary creatures of flesh and blood, you touch my mind, fumbling in ignorance, incapable of understanding.
Yeah that was my fault
We had a planned free agency segment but I dropped Pollard again and the ardent defender worked that segment over.

so who is hosting the BRB fantasy league?
I want in! but I havent had the chance to listen to it. I was driving between phoenix and the frozen north known as flagstaff.
Jake was the commish last year.
I don’t know if he’s going to be again this year.
You can take shiner37’s or turnips place.
Or DreKeem’s. Because im tired losing to teams that don’t even set their line up.
I'm sure there'll be an announcement of some sort.
And I re-nominate Jake as commish!

WOW! I actually had fun listening to the radio show.
Y’all were informative and entertaining.
Actually, another possible technology that I haven’t really tested for the format of a “radio show” might be Teamspeak.
TS now is at it’s 3rd iteration so we call it TS3. Downside is that it would have to be hosted and paid for on a monthly basis. But just in a brainstorming vein . . . if you wanted to set up a TS channel that you could have people d/l the client to listen in and you could , if you wanted to , set up so that everyone who logs in to the live version could listen and not speak or speak only if they have permission from the channel owner.
I think I’ve even seen that it’s possible to record TS3 conversations so that could be a way for those of us who might miss the live event to catch up.
To me, benefits of TS3 are that each visitor using TS during the live event could say turn up Rivers’ voice and turn down Tim. Within the TS client you see a light go on when someone is hitting their push to talk button (TS users often prefer push to talk over a voice activated set up)
But this is just brainstorming for future events. I really did enjoy listening to y’all talk rather intelligently about my favorite football team =). Keep up the good work !
Now I don’t know how the recording of a TS3 session works. Those of us who listen to the recast/replay might just have to do what we’re doing already with the current tech.
another cool feature is that TS3 has within it a text chat feature so that people listening can type a question or comment while another person is speaking.
and lastly, TS3 allows you to literally send a voice whisper to someone logged into your channel so let’s say Displaced Texan wants to give Rivers a heads up about an upcoming question that he’s going to ask. He could quite literally whisper it over the internet to Rivers and no one else in the channel could hear it. Or maybe Tim needs to go grab a beverage of choice and needs to let Displaced Texan know that he’s going AFK. Again, he could whisper that and just go AFK.
