Update on Appalichian St QB Armanti Edwards' Visit with Texans
Dear Journal,
I visited with the Texans and Rams. Nothing different. Just like the rest of them. They pretty much told me the same stuff. I met with the GM, a few front office people, and the wide receiver and special team coach. I met with the quarterback coach when I went to watch them during conditioning.
My workout with the Jets was cancelled.
I am going to be at home with a couple of family members watching the draft.
Talk to you after I am picked.

Interesting
The draft sites (CBS, Phil Steele, NFL Draft Bible) are unsure if they are projecting him to be a slot receiver in the NFL, or the next potential Pat White.
But they all seem to agree that he will be a 5-6th round pick this coming weekend.
I would be interested to see if he can be a return man….thus potentially eliminating the need for Apostrophe.
If the Treasury Secretary doesn't have to pay taxes, then why do I?
Yes, he has some talent
I have seen him compared with Pat White except with more “intangibles” I think was the word. Something like that. He is multi-talented and would be a true wildcat guy in all aspects of what a wildcat could be. Instead of running the halfback pass with a slouch like Chris Brown, how about a guy that is a threat with his speed to the corner and his threat to fire a bullet into the endzone. If the Texans are looking to add some excitement and firepower, this IS the guy! I think he would improve the Red Zone performance.
I suppose if all of the stars, moons and planets align it could be possible, but what are the chances of that?
