Shelley Smith Is The Newest Texan!
This is hour 57 of our live around the clock coverage of Texans war room. Remember, by the way, to tune in at 8 for highlights of today's vigil, including when the garbage man came, and when the Texans picked Shelley Smith. Possibly because he was harassed. We don't know.

Adds some power to the Texans zone-blocking scheme. Can win at the point of attack and should be able to fight for a starting job down the line.
"Lord, beer me strength."
Lesson learned
Don’t search for “juices oven simpsons” with safe search turned off. ***shudders***

I get a link to this thread
I suppose if all of the stars, moons and planets align it could be possible, but what are the chances of that?
now why didn't we just get a much better "Shelley Smith" type
in the 3rd, 4th twice or 5th rounds??
Were guys like Mitchell and Sharpton really a threat not to fall further?

i think it was stupid moves in the 4th round..
we were set up nicely to make some moves in the 4th round with those 2 picks and they squandered it
simply baffling
if they needed TE bodies to fill in for mini-camp, OTA’s and training camp they shoulda jus signed some guys off the strreet.. we coulda went FS and G in the 4th i cant stress enuf how stupid the 4th went
This question will be asked about 12,000 times over the next year or so

Deep thought
I wish the Texans would’ve been as quick to pull the trigger on Carr as the Raiders were with Russell.

Captain O’Hagan: We should have taken him out the back and shot him a long time ago.

gambling
Best available… Chargers did something similar with a guy named Sproles a handful of years back. It seemed to work out.
Best joke ever:
@markraff: 6’3 300 LB Guard Shelley Smith drafted by Houston. Now how is she going to be able to follow Pete Carroll around?

somebodies head would have asploded
Rudimentary creatures of flesh and blood, you touch my mind, fumbling in ignorance, incapable of understanding.
Of the guards, Smith is not the quickest, but can jump….both vertical and horizontal…..somebodies got to take Chester’s place “jumping offsides”.
