I don't know much about football at all. I just tried looking at Wikepedia  to enlighten myself more about the offensive line and my eyes started to glaze over. I'll definitely have to revisit this stuff and digest it slowly.

But do y'all recall if Chris Myers' problems were ALL his fault? Or were they also partly other players on the line missing their respective assignments? Were these other players n00bs/rookies? Were they veterans?

Is there a real possibility that Shelley Smith is a Chris Meyers backup? What does it mean to be OL vs being a C? I'd guess OL means offensive lineman and C means center? If this is the case, what is Chris Meyers doing wrong that Shelley Smith can do right? Is there another position on the OL that Shelley Smith should be doing for the Texans?

Sorry if these questions are too stupid to be published by an avid reader of Battle Red Blog. But I'm trying to learn and this stuff baffles me.
