ESPN Shows Texans some love

ESPN is currently airing their Draft review show with Mel, Todd, Herm Edwards and Suzy K. They just finished with the AFC South review. First question (posed to Kiper & McShay) was best and worst (i.e. biggest reach) picks. Todd said that Ben Tate was a reach and "does not fit with what the Texans are doing". He didn't elaborate on that, so I have no idea to what quality or lack therof he was referring. No other panelist backed him up on that. I think Ben looks like money. Next Mel and Todd were asked to rate which teams had the best draft in the division. Both Todd and Mel gave the Texans the #1 slot. Mel gave us a "B", which is fair, with McShay just saying we were the best and Jags were the worst. Last question was who is going to challenge the Colts (7 consecutive years of 12+ wins) next year, and Herm Edwards quickly chimed in with Houston. He qualified that by saying that he had said the same thing last year, but also liked our draft and said that we have the best chance to take them down. It was refreshing to get some positive remarks from the boys in Bristol.
