My view on what would make the Texans better in 2010.

The first move involves trading down with the Cardinals so the Texans recieve the 26th and 88th picks.

Now my mock:

1st rd(26) - Patrick Robinson - CB - Florida St. - 5'11 190

2nd rd(51) - Toby Gerhart - RB/FB - Stanford - 6'0 231

3rd rd(81) - Linval Joseph - DT - E. Carolina - 6'5 328

3rd rd(88) - Kam Chancellor - FS/SS - Virginia Tech - 6'3 231

4th rd(118) - Brandon Carter - OG - Texas Tech - 6'6 329

5th rd(150) - Antonio Coleman - OLB/SLB - Auburn - 6'2 255

6th rd(181) - Aaron Pettrey - K - Ohio St. - 6'1 202

I left the other 6th and 7th rd picks out, only because they can go in any direction.  Now this is my 2010 Texans rotation.

Offense:

QB - Schaub/Orlowski

RB - Gerhart/Slaton/Foster(Gerhart ran a 4.50 40 at the Combine and is a good fit to team with Slaton)

FB - Leach/Casey

WR - Johnson/Davis

WR - Walter/Jones/Anderson

TE - Daniels/Casey/Dreessen

LT - Brown/Butler

LG - Brisel/Carter(I think Carter with his size and quick feet will over take Brisel eventually)

C - W.Smith/Myers(there is really no competition at center to prevent Wade from starting)

RG - Caldwell/Carter

RT - Winston/Butler

Defense:

RE - Williams/Bulman

RT - Okoye/Cody

LT - Joseph/A.Smith(Joseph is a physical, hard working DT with a mean streak)

LE - A.Smith/Barwin(Barwin will get a lot more playing time this season in the rotation)

SLB - Cushing/Coleman(Coleman can be a solid backup to Cushing)

MLB - Ryan/Bentley

WLB - Diles/Adibi

CB - P.Robinson/McCain (Robinson is a little raw but in time can become a shutdown corner)

CB - Quin/Reeves

Nickel CB - Reeves/Molden

SS - Pollard/Chancellor(Chancellor will eventually replace Wilson at FS. Has awesome size and great instincts)

FS - Wilson/Chancellor

Special Teams:

K - Brown/Pettrey(Pettrey will give Brown some competition in camp)

P - Turk

KR - Davis/McCain

PR - Jones/McCain
