So the draft has passed and now we are waiting for OTA's and shaking our head at Brian Cushing.  Well, in the meantime, some buddies and I entered a 48 hour film contest.  (Yes, that's what I've been doing while piloting my fantasy baseball team, the Pudge Packers, into second to last place.)

Louis and the rest of theTHF Productions crew are proud to premiere our entry into the 48 Hour Film Project Dallas - 2010. "The IT Kid" Keep in mind that this film was made in 48 hours as part of the 48 Hour Film Project. Writing to photography to music to editing this was all done in 48 hours! It started on Friday the 23rd when we received a character (professor Christina Miliaris), a prop (a wine bottle), and a line ("I've never tried it, but I hear it's great") that we had to incorporate into a 5-7 minute film due on Sunday the 25th, and we drew a genre out of a hat. Unfortunately we got Western, so we did the best we could with that. 


On Saturday May 1st , we premiered "The IT Kid" at the Dallas Angelika theater. The premiere was amazing, such a great feeling to have an entire audience laughing and hooting and hollering for a film you created. They loved it, and we are really proud of it. The organizers annouced that we won one of three audience awards, but the rest of the awards have been moved to next Wednesday the 12th so we will have to wait until then to find out if we win anything else.
