So Stephanie Stradley, over at her blog http://blogs.chron.com/texanschick/2010/05/more_on_ben_tate_and_what_spee.html, gets an interview with the managing editor of Football Outsiders, to discuss ... weightspeed!  Seriously, although they call it "speed score" for some lame reason.  It is calculated differently than how we have been imagining things, but its still weightspeed.  And guess which running back had the best weightspeed/"speed score" in the 2010 draft?  Thats right, Mr. Ben Tate of Auburn.  Interesting read, regardless.
