Since Texans news is slow, I thought I'd throw this up here since this impacts many Texans fans and could generate some conversation. Yes, I know there's other blogs out there for college teams and conferences, but not all BRBers frequent those.
I know we are a diverse group here. Off the top of my head, I know there are fans of Nebraska, Texas A&M, Baylor (oddly enough, they do exist), Texas Tech, Oklahoma, Boise St, Colorado, and even a few scant Texas Longhorn fans. There's also some other fans out there, but I don't want to try and compile a full list - although you're more than welcome to remind us in the comments who you root for in college football.
Everyone's heard the rumors: Nebraska and Missouri are bolting to the Big T1e1n. Texas, Oklahoma, and four other schools are going to play with the boys on the West Coast. Texas is getting wooed by the Big T1e1n, but wants to start its own TV Network and stay in the Big XII. Texas legislators are trying to push Baylor with their big brothers while blocking out Colorado. Colorado may go Pac-10, Big Ten, or even the Mountain West. No one is fighting to get Iowa State, Kansas, or Kansas State apparently.
The Big XII is awaiting the first domino by extending ultimatums to Nebraska and Missouri for a decision on Friday. Before that happens, what does everyone make of this? Do you want to see your school bolt from the Big XII? Where do you think everyone ends up? Is anyone really wanting to see UT and OU playing with Cal and Oregon? Is the Mountain West going to snag some teams and a BCS automatic birth? Is this all moot without a playoff? Sound off in the comments, and let's see what kind of conversation comes up.
