I am aware that many of the readers here at BRB are a bunch of Old Hillbillies people who have jobs and lives and probably don't care too much about the ratings a video game gives out... however for those that play sports games, the stats can be close to a measuring stick for different aspects of players.

So those unfamiliar with madden, all you need to know regarding the following information is that 1 means atrociously bad and 99 basically means "the best". It's rather difficult to get a 99 rating and as far as bad ratings go, generally around 50-60 is considered bad for applicable stats while numbers lower than that are generally reserved for stats that don't apply to the player.Madden often does a decent job of doing stats, for example Wes Welker is not the fastest receiver, but has great explosion and change of direction. This is reflected by his speed rating only being an 86 (David Anderson has an 84) while his acceleration is a 98.
So lets get down to business. Your Houston Texans were given a 75 team rating... which is a 4 point drop from last year. which boggles me but just get used to this because EA sports is notorious for making no sense at times.
So as far as players are concerned, Andre Johnson is the best WR in the game, receiving a 98 overall rating. He was a 99 last year.
I could go thru the whole roster or I could just tell you all to head on over to The Website where I am getting this
there are a lot of snubs or things that just don't make sense in here but oh well. BRB's been a bit quiet lately so i figured I would make some noise!
