Average numbers: 1,017 yards rushing, 8.65 touchdowns, 3 fumbles.
Highs: 1270 yards (scorpions94), 12 touchdowns (do), 7 fumbles (peytonsurdaddy - damn Colts fan ;) )
Lows: 777 yards (Rip Jersey), 5 touchdowns (killtacular and NoSafetiesNeeded), 1 fumble (three different entries)
Disappointing turnout this week, I guess some of you were turned off by the amount of guesswork you'd have to put in. Don't worry, that was the only one of these that will have a multiple player answer. We got 23 total responses compared to 57 on Schaub.
The most interesting part was the responses on who the back would be. We had a really tight competition. Ben Tate was first with 9 responses, Arian Foster was second with 8, and Steve Slaton wound up with 6. Fairly even split.
Anyway, I think obviously this number was bound to be higher than last year, when Slaton wound up with 437, 3, and 1. The question is: was this a little too high? And no, I didn't count DisplacedTexan or nollie in here, so they aren't weighing us up.
Poll
Is this a fair projection for the Texans leading rusher next year?
Sure. In fact, I'd say there's a good chance someone beats that. (30 votes)
No way, these guys are going to be fighting for the job all year. (25 votes)
