Around SBN: Yankees Deny Rumors That Team Is For Sale

Seriously Freaking Out.

Seriously. I am. The first preseason game is almost upon us and I still don't know how the hell im going to watch the damn game!

I am fully aware that there's possibly some sites that are streaming it but what if I never find them? I don't wanna be stuck watching the damn Raiders or the 49ers Or like nolander; the Chargers.

So where can I find these streams? Im writing this fanpost in hopes that some of yall can provide me with a reliable stream of the game. Im not the only one that you're going to be helping out too so if you got something against me, think of al the other fans that don't live in Texas man!!

It is Justin.TV but there was a specific forum somewhere that listed all the games....

Off to google once more.

Where are you, San Fran, was it?

I suppose if all of the stars, moons and planets align it could be possible, but what are the chances of that?

The Brick Yard is fans of the Texas Longhorns...maybe you can bribe them to carry the Texans?

The Blue Light also is big into the Longhorns and they have Shiner Bock on tap

located at 1979 Union St (at the corner of Union & Buchanon) Give them a call on teh Texans….

I would say go watch the Longhorns and you'll probably find some Texans fans and take it from there....

SHINER BOCK in SF?

You are second on my “Most Awesome People” List. Second to BFD. Come on, like you didn’t see that coming.

I’ve been looking for Shiner Bock in grocery stores like Lucky’s and Safeways but nobody even heard of it.

And i’ll definitely check out those bars man, thanks for the recommendations.

by Jordann on Aug 11, 2010 7:08 PM CDT up reply actions

As far as I know....

Shiner is not sold outside of TX.

It is

I saw it all the time in Colorado. Never bought any, but I saw it well represented.

Maybe they give it away in the Bay Area?

I've seen Shiner Bock in ATL, CIN, and MIN

It just depends on the relationships with the distributor.

They sell it here in az

but you can only find Bock, none of the other flavors. and usually only in cans though bottles have been purchased… thus why when i return to texas i always drink a crap load!

Second what TDC said

I could buy it in several places in CO.

Here’s this, Jordann:

And this:

Some additional googling should help you find more.

See,

that’s why BFD is #1 on my list!

by Jordann on Aug 12, 2010 5:10 AM CDT up reply actions

It is sold in Virginia

A few grocery stores here have it. Only in 6 packs, but I ain’t complaining. They have Bock and sometimes Oktoberfest.

Background – Manassas is sometimes loving referred to as Manasshole. Bowling alley there right off I-66 they have Shiner on tap. The freaking bowling alley in Manassas, VA! I nearly fainted.

Also there’s a chain here called Austin Grille. Couple guys from Austin started it and they have Shiner on tap. BBQ chain called Rocklands (good stuff), their restaurant in Arlington, VA has it on tap.

Heard mixed things about Austin Grille

What do you think about it? A friend and native Austinite has been none too complimentary about the joint. Except, if I remember correctly, they do have Blue Bell.

Not true.

I’ve had it in Indiana.

I, amongst many other of the core contributors at Stampede Blue, are officially boycotting the site due to the deplorable "leadership" of head blogger BigBlueShoe. We ask, but do not expect, support, from you, our fellow fans, no matter your team affiliation. The ideals of fairness and respect that are the foundation of this great sport that we all love should not stop at the chalk on the boundaries of the gridiron, but should continue through the fans and beyond. To show your support you may email dhalprin123@gmail.com at SBNation and respectfully ask for removal of Brad Wells as head blogger of Stampede Blue. Thank You.

Great News!!! For most of you

It looks like NFL Network is broadcasting the Preseason on hte net, in HD for free.

But only if you are in the US.

yea, its a $39.99 dollar package

so all three games that aren’t against the cowgirls (well every game that isn’t nationally televised) being on the east coast i look a this stuff hard lol

Some people say "If you can't beat them, join them". I say "If you can't beat them, beat them", because they will be expecting you to join them, so you will have the element of surprise.

Yeah i've heard

But I don’t gots a stable income to subscribe to the NFLN =(

This one has served me well. It used to be p2p4u.net

http://www.firstrow.net/sports/american-football.html
They’ve even got some of the games in HD. Not that they’ll bother wasting bandwidth on a Texans preseason game, or for that matter, a Texans regular season game. Maybe on a Texans playoff game…oh yeah, never mind.

by peytonsurdaddy on Aug 11, 2010 7:54 AM CDT reply actions   1 recs

The two sites i always went to (for Seattle Seahawks games)

p2p4u.net (now known as firstrow.net)

and atdhe.net

both very reliable.

I have NFLN, but my homerism will not allow me to wait for a reair, I have to see it live.

I’m not even sure the local sports eatery will be able to show it….unless they have some kind of link with Houston local stations.

I don't know about watching the game live

But I know a good place you can get a pristine HD rip of the game usually a couple of days afterwords. Email me if that’s your only option, brother.

NFL Network will be re-airing the game

I think I have that version set on the DVR for 3am on Sunday. Especially since the Austin channel they show it on doesnt have an HD version on DirecTV.

this link works, but it’s the AZ feed, which sucks late in the game when all they want to talk about is their backups.
