Seems like cowboy fans and nfl broadcasters need to face reality. Dallas was trying to play well and look good that game. So much so that the starters may have to play the final pre-season game in an effort to get things right.I doubt they would risk injury to the first team defense and offense, unless they were actualy trying to resist that brutal raping http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100829/ap_on_sp_fo_ne/fbn_sloppy_cowboys.

Dallas actually stayed in their base defense the Entire Game. Plus it wasnt like they actually Gameplanned for you guys. Now does that excuse the Horrible execution? No but it does show that Dallas really doesnt take the pre season seriously. Unlike other teams who feel the need to excite thier fan base by winning meaningless games Dallas looks at the preseason as a tool to see their players in game situations.

For the record
The Texans ran the same pre-season package we fans have seen all pre-season. There didn’t seem to be anything special about their packages. The team simply wanted to execute better than they did in New Orleans and they did.
I’m sure you guys have had a master plan to allow 15 sacks, average 2.5 yards per carry, and struggle in the red zone just to fool everyone. I’m sure it’s Wade and Tony’s master plan to pull a fast one on everyone. See ya in week three.

I’ll bite and feed the troll….who exactly anointed the cowturds “america’s team”?
I really would like to know where this unholy fascination with them came from….as long as they are doing well on the football field. When they tank on the football field, they disappear (except for all the arrest reports on page 3 in the police blotter) and I see ghosts of decal’s on vehicles where the bandwagon fan base has moved their allegiances somewhere else or just forgotten about football completely until the mass media reminds them that the cowturds are doing well and are obviously “america’s team” again because they are winning.

First of all,
if you’re going to use insults with “short yellow bus” and “H (Town) Syndromes” then maybe you should learn how to type intelligibly instead of like a guy who got kicked in the head by a horse with the terrible spelling and poor use of punctuation.

I don’t think ND won their conference twice in the last three years. So, that might be a bit unfair to compare America’s Team in America’s Sport to them. You’d be better served in comparing ND, to a team with a cow on it’s helmet, than America’s Team.

Who is giddy? Some fans? Sure cause there are Cowboy fans coming and making excuses. It seems to be a battle over who can get under someone’s skin more. There will be plenty of time for that in month.
Me? Well, there’s a whole front page post with my opinion on things where I simply dissect the play on the field. It’s a pre-season game. I don’t really care about the outcome but am more concerned with how the team performed – which was pretty well with a few exceptions. It’s pre-season. No one should be getting giddy over Ws and Ls right now.
Now week 3? Yeah, that’ll be fun. It’s Texas, it’s meaningful football, and it’s the state’s two best teams.

I being a diehard Texans fan
have to disagree with that statement, mostly because the fact that Peyton Manning puts on a great display during the regular season (with the exception of the jets game last year where his Coaches/GM thought it would be better to go for a Super Bowl Loss than a perfect Season), the Titans and Jags have two of the best RBs and tote pretty middle of the pack to above Average teams. Where as the NFC is a bunch of Average to Above average teams playing each other. Yeah McNabb was a beast in the East but has lost few steps and recently changed teams. Like i have said before if Dallas comes out 8-8 this year they will be lucky.

We have some tough teams here in the NFC.
The problem is most of them aren’t consistent enough for whatever reason. I’m out of the predicting business, but I do expect Jason to come out of his unusually long learning curve. He did a good job against a lowly AFC West Division last season, which by the way, is why I think the NFC is better than the AFC. In continuing my point, Jason Garrett has his hands full this year no doubt about it. Not concerned as much on Defense with the exception of the secondary. Calling too many zone packages to be exact. I’m sure in which your “DC” salivated over.
The NFL is tough Taco Joe. I too am a diehard for my team, but each team has to overcome obstacles. Just part of the game. Like you said. It’s been awhile since “America’s Team” did something in the post season. It’s all good, JG will figure it out. Just a matter of when. Same can be said of Houston. The thing takes time. No way around it.

Okay now I make some enemies.
The Houston Texans have been and always will be my team. I am for life a Texan! However, I am a Texan so I will hope for and root for any Texas team to beat any non-Texan team. So, if the Houston Texans are playing the Dallas Methanes, I will hope for the Texans to stomp the shit out of the Cowflakes every day of the week. However, if the Cowbabies are playing any other NFL team I will hope they win because they are from Southern Oklahoma Texas regardless of how much I may dislike all some of their players, their coach, and, mostly, their owner. I’m just saying I am a Texan and a Texan!
