Madden is made by a bunch of nerds who have no idea what the fuck they are doing. If you watch their dev videos it’s painfully obvious that they know NOTHING about football. Don’t get me started on the ratings, Tim Tebow has more strength than Ray Lewis and a bunch of O-linemen for fucks sake.

I stick to playing ncaa. Madden has stupid features every year that make the game worse. They should just update the rosters and fix whats broken. Too hard to do I guess.

The ratings for a lot of the teams is complete bullshit. The Bengals are an 86 versus a 79 (i think) for the Texans. EA you got some splainin’ to do!

All of my money for the last five years has gone to baby delivery expenses, carseat, diapers, formula, another delivery, 2nd carseat, diapers, formula, SUV I can barely afford (cause according to my wife you can’t put a price on safety). Justifying the time and money on an XBOX 360 hasn’t been possible. At least watching the Texans on tv is free… well other than my wretched Comcast bill.

And you know what was my madden game before that was? ‘99 for the N64. (With All-NEW Cleveland Browns!) So I’ll join in on the what… Madden ’20 tournament. Sound good?

There’s going to be a BRB tournament just to determine the representative. I may get my wireless card just to join and lose!

I stagger NCAA and Madden every other year, and this year is NCAA. So … good luck BRBers!

Is there a way to save a game on the PS3? It’s real hard to have a fam and not be able to save, but I can’t find a way.

I need the following information: when do we have to submit a representative?

Because if we’ve got at least through this weekend, I’m putting together a little BRB Madden tournament to determine our representative. The rules are as follows (I’m making them up as I type):

- Assuming we have the right number of players, a single elimination tournament. No seeding, match-ups completely arbitrary.
- Only ONE player per game may play as the Texans per game. Before each game, I’ll flip a coin. The winner can opt to play as the Texans or play as the home team. Any opposing team must be within +/- 2 of the Texans overall. (The idea is that if you can win as the Texans on the road, you’re a superior Madden player.)
- 5 minute quarters, NO clock run off, All-madden difficulty
- Register by replying to this post, registration closes at 12am CST TOMORROW night. I’ll make up the brackets and post match-ups Wednesday morning, with an eye toward starting games Wednesday night.
- Aim for a game each night, hopefully crowning a champion by Sunday evening (SBNation requirements permitting)

I’m obviously open to modifications to the rules. But I think this could be a fun little exercise to pass the time until the season starts. I see a lot of gamertags above, but if you could re-post that would be swell.
