Chargers Pick Up Another Texans Leftover
This time we don't get a draft pick, like we did with Travis Johnson, but still.

Eh, Bolts from the Blue don't think too highly of FB.
Fred Bennett is just a guy being brought in for secondary depth in the 49ers game.
"Lord, beer me strength."
Not that I would be surprised
But where did you get that? I read Bolts from the Blue to see how Legadu Naanee is doing (a former BSU player, now apparently one of their starting WRs), and I don’t remember seeing that anywhere.
It was in a post the talked about the player cut for FB.
That literally was all that was said about him.
"Lord, beer me strength."
The Fred is an enigma
or to steal from a well known movie “an enigma wrapped in a conundrum”. I wouldn’t be surprised if he has a decent career with SD or someone else. He has the physical attributes and talent to play in the NFL. How many times has a change of scenery revived a professional athlete’s career? A lot. Why he couldn’t prosper with the Texans is a mystery, but plainly he did not deserve a spot on the 2010 Texans. Credit goes to the bevy of talented young players in the Texans secondary. Good luck Fred.
It took the Astros 44 years to get to the Series, the Oilers-Texans are due to get to the big dance...Go Texans!!!!!

ya
He seems like he has the physical ability. Hopefully a change of scenery does him well, he always seemed like a good guy and hopefully things do go well for him.
In the year 2000

In the year 2000, every chargers player will be a former Texan, and in turn will be a former Denver Bronco or Colorado State Ram.
In the year two thousaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnddddddddddddddd
Although I suppose it should be “in the year 2020” or something like that.
