PrintLast time we talked, I promised that we'd announce the venue at a later date. This is that later date. With a caveat. Questions will be answered after the jump. Probably.
Here's what we do know: We will most assuredly be getting together to watch the Texans face the Cardinals in the preseason opener on Saturday, August 14, 2010 at 7 p.m. CST. That you can count on.
We also are fairly certain that we'll be having said get-together at 360 Sports Lounge, a new sports bar that's opening at Suite 150 of 4601 Washington Avenue.
I say "fairly certain" because they still have not opened yet, but we've been assured that will be happening within the next couple of days. Given that the owners are Texans fans, BRBers, and most importantly, good guys, we're going to give 'em every reasonable opportunity we can to be in a position to host this shindig. If for some reason 360 hits a snag and doesn't open in time, we'll let you know a few days in advance and figure out somewhere else to do this thing.
For now, however...we'll see you at 360 Sports Lounge on Saturday, August 14th at 7 p.m. CST. If you can make it, please RVSP in the Comments so we can get a rough head count. Significant others, friends, hangers-on, etc. are cordially invited, so please account for any guests in your RSVP as well.

But I’ll be attending a party that night. best believe i have it set for DVR even though DirecTV doesnt have the channel that is broadcasting it in HD in Austin.
