I was reading the chron this morning. Yeah I'm an old fart and I like to read the morning paper with a cup of coffee. Old habits die hard. Dale's article was about Kareem and the youthful Texans' cornerback group going up against the mighty Peyton. Towards the end of the article he pointed out that the inexperience of the CB's was offset by the experience of both safeties: Bonecrusher and NICK FERGUSON. My dropping jaw nearly knocked my cup of Joe on the floor. My first thought was WTF did I miss? Did Eugene Wilson get hurt and we brought back Ferguson? What about Troy Nolan? Naturally this was all nonsense because Wilson & Nolan are the safeties opposite Pollard and Dale's brainfart was actually published by the chron.

What a freakin' joke. I know where to get the real scoop on all things Texans....BRB. Maybe one day I'll cancel my chron subscription.

My knee scope did wonders

I could run before the procedure, but with various levels of discomfort and sensations; sometimes pain, sometimes burning, sometimes almost nothing. The day after, however, was always bad. Been 18 days since the fix and the knee is not 100%, but it’s better than it was, in fact it felt better the day after the scope than the day before. I haven’t made any serious runs yet, but am confident that before too long I will be back on the trails. Avoid the concrete, it doesn’t have any give.

It took the Astros 44 years to get to the Series, the Oilers-Texans are due to get to the big dance...Go Texans!!!!!

The entire Chron (news, sports, etc.) seems to have a contest of publishing the most Doom & Gloom articles…facts be damned.

As fate would have it, I just cut my subscription back from every day to only the Sunday edition. I’m stunned at how much I don’t miss reading the paper every morning.

Looking forward to a day when being a Texans fan doesn't mean that April is the highlight of my season...
