Football Fans Unite!
The regular season is in full swing. Thousands of hours are spent discussing week one match ups and how well or horrible our teams will fare in that first game of the season. Millions of dollars are already spent buying tickets, team apparel and tailgating equipment/supplies(beer).
This is our way of showing how much we love the game of football. It has become a part of our being and it has dictated the way we have lived our lives for years.
So how would you feel if you found out that there won't be another season of football next year?
I know it sounds horrible, but it's definitely a reality we could be facing if the NFL and the NFLPA are not able to work out a new deal that can benefit both parties. Both sides are too busy looking out for themselves, but they're forgetting one thing.
The fans.
Im not going to bother you with the details, but here's the gist of it. THEY ARE FIGHTING FOR OUR MONEY.
It seems like a long shot or a lot of work, but we DO have a say in this. We DO have the power to affect these negotiations. A say in how things should turn out to be. We CAN make a difference.
The fans are the staple of every single NFL team out there. Football wouldn't be as big and NFL would not be as successful as it is without us, the fans.
Im not much of a thinking man(or a writing man for that matter), but I do have plenty of passion for this sport. And I know that you do as well. We need to come together and let our voices be heard.
We need to create a union for the fans so we can keep this important facet of our life from drowning in the bottomless pit of greed.
We can dictate the future of our sport.

I say we boycott...
Buying any merchandise whatsoever until these jackasses get to the table and make sure I have my fucking football for next year!
/boycotts everything
//cheap bastard who wasn’t going to buy shit anyway
I, amongst many other of the core contributors at Stampede Blue, are officially boycotting the site due to the deplorable "leadership" of head blogger BigBlueShoe. We ask, but do not expect, support, from you, our fellow fans, regardless of your team affiliation. The ideals of fairness and respect that are the foundation of this great sport that we all love should not stop at the chalk on the boundaries of the gridiron, but should continue through to the fans and beyond. To show your support you may email dhalprin123@gmail.com at SBNation and respectfully ask for the removal of Brad Wells as head blogger of Stampede Blue. Thank You.

I have been thinking about it!
Maybe we could boycott the NFL (BLEH) to force them into negotiating! Like, “We will boycott the NFL if a lockout happens”
I dunno, but we are important.

I'm so sick of these greedy pricks and their fingers in the air...
It’s not players against owners… It’s NFL (players and owners) against the FANS and it’s time we stopped paying… I guarantee that if merchandise sales and ticket sales started to dry up, BOTH sides would get something worked out.
MLB pretty well destroyed themselves for several years after their little greed-fest and I’ve NEVER had an interest in baseball since.
I'm all for it but...
They didn’t give a shit about the fans when they locked Sunday Ticket to DirectTV. The only thing that will make them care is if we stop spending money on their project.
Have you ever tried just turning off the TV, sitting down with your children, and hitting them?
It's all the blogwriter's fault!!!
They are the ones that are making money off us. Every time we click, they make a penny! It adds up. And, what do we get for it?
We need to stop clicking….
I dub the Colts....Unforgiven!
