Sporting News Top 100 - 6 Ravens on List

The Sporting News' annual list of the top 100 current NFL players came out recently and there are five Texans on the list: GOAT, Super Mario, Crushing, Shaubby, and Cap'n Meco.  The list is chosen by a 99-man panel of football experts - including 25 Hall of Famers.

Sporting News has released its annual list of the top 100 current NFL players. Colts QB Peyton Manning topped the list for the second year in a row followed by Saints QB Drew Brees, Titans RB Chris Johnson, Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald and Vikings RB Adrian Peterson to round out the top five.  
 
The Minnesota Vikings had the most players on 2010's list with seven, followed by the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers with six, and the Indianapolis Colts, Dallas Cowboys, New Orleans Saints and Houston Texans with five. 
 
The annual list is voted on by a 99-man panel of Hall of Famers, former stars, coaches and general managers.
