ESPN Stats & Info's Next Level data offers up extra details on Houston's struggles against Peyton Manning and Donovan McNabb. Houston clearly needs to do better defending long stuff over the middle from Tony Romo on Sunday.
The Texans have given up more completions inside the numbers than all but one team’s total attempts.
On balls thrown over 10 yards downfield inside the numbers, Houston has yielded 24.1 yards per attept, a 153.9 passer rating and three touchdowns so far. Outside the numbers, it's been just 4.8 yards per attempt, a 46.9 rating and no TDs.
